"We should charge for entry." Saeko said, looking around the basement.
It took them a lot of time and energy to finish painting the walls, but it was definitely worth it. The whole place looked much better now, when there wasn't any dust on the floor, spider webs on the walls and ceiling and almost all of the walls were painted white. Although it was just one layer of very unprofessional work, it definitely was better than bare, concrete walls.
"Yeah, rip students out of their money. They have too much." Keishin scoffed, making Saeko pout.
"It's not even a club, so why would they pay? They already have to bring their own alcohol and stuff." Akiteru added, leaning on the wall. He stretched his arms, feeling the slight burn in his muscles. After a week of hard work in the basement he needed some rest. Especially after they decided to brick up the car entrance so no one could use this one to reveal their secret lair.
"Smile!" The three looked at the direction of Alissa just as a bright flash made them squint for a moment.
"What the hell?" Saeko rubbed her eyes before coming closer to the girl. She looked at the camera display to see a photo of three completely surprised people. Their eyes were red from the flash, and they were all shining from the sweat forming on their foreheads and arms, but something in that photo make the girl smile. "I want a copy of this. She said, walking away.
"Of course." Alissa smiled sweetly before taking one more photo, now of only Saeko in the middle of the basement. "I've had an idea. We can take photos every time someone comes here, to drink or to hang out, and we can hang them on the walls." She said, looking around the place. "It would look so cool after a couple of years."
"Yeah, and then people in the future will wonder who that hot student was on one of the oldest photo of all." Saeko laughed, but she couldn't hide the fact that she loved the idea. "We can write our names under the photos, so the people will know that we were a part of this place."
"Look at the girls, so nostalgic. And we didn't even invite anyone here yet." Keishin snickered, nudging Akiteru with his elbow."
"I think it's quite cool." The blonde smiled and looked at the freshly painted wall. "And it will hide the poor job we did here."
"We didn't have more paint, do you remember?" Saeko smirked. "But I agree, we have to hide it with the pictures."
"Guys?" Another voice sounded from the direction of the door and the group looked at Takeda who just walked into the basement. "I just saw the new headmaster." He announced, making everyone look at him attentively.
"And? What did he look like? Is he hot?" Saeko asked, making Keishin scoff.
"Better tell us if he is as strict as the old one." He said, making the shorter man rub his neck nervously.
"Well, I wouldn't say that I know for sure, but he seems kinda... scary."
"What do you mean?" Akiteru asked, looking at his friend with worry.
Takeda's face became more serious as he looked at all four people surrounding him. "You'll see tomorrow at the assembly. But one thing is sure."
He made a pause, during which everyone's faces became more unhappy.
"We don't want him to know about the basement."
* * *
"I could be sleeping right now." Saeko whispered harshly to Keishin sitting next to her. "Why are we even here?"
"We need to get to know our enemy." Keishin whispered back, looking straight at the suited up man standing at the center of a huge stage in the assembly hall.
