The river, gently streaming by, was soothing. A soft breeze rustled the leaves of the evergreen trees, adding another level of comfort to the air. The feeling of the cold flat rock of the riverbank they sat on made them feel grounded and centered.
It had been a while since they'd been here.
They heard the crunching of twigs behind them. Soon enough, a scruffy blond dwarf sat beside them.
"It's been a while, Human."
