I sat next to him and introduced myself, he was weirdly the only person I felt comfortable with talking too, I was generally a very shy person so this was a new experience for me. I found out his name was Jordan and I told him it was my first day, he seemed pretty comfortable with me as well, but sadly the conversation had to be cut short, because the moment I wanted to ask if he would like to be friends, the teacher walked in and the whole class room fell silent. When first and second period ended we went out to lunch, and I asked Jordan if I could accompany him, he was a bit weird about it too start with but agreed. We got talking and I found out that me and him have quite a bit in common, we both have the same taste in music, and we both have the same hobbies and have something similar in mind for the future, he told me he wanted to be a chef. I had mentioned that I wanted to own a restaurant, but I hesitated asking him if he wanted to come work at my restaurant, I didn't want to be too forward too quickly. We spoke a little bit longer until we had to go back to class, the next few weeks were pretty much the same, I finally got up the courage to ask him if he wanted to go out, outside of university and I was very surprised when he had agreed. I gave him my phone number and he gave me his. A few weeks past and I seen him at university again and again, he was very busy during the week with his schooling and then busy most weekends with other types of other things he did. I found out that he was very influenced inside of the AFL and he also went for the same football team I do. A few more weeks went by and the holidays rolled around, I had sent him a text message asking if he would like to go do something and he agreed, we went to see a movie that I wanted to see even before it was in the cinema, I offered to pay for the movie ticket and he paid for the popcorn and snacks. The movie was about an hour in and I was quite bored and almost fell asleep, the only good thing about this experience was he was there with me, I reached my hand across the seat and he grabbed my hand, my body filled up with butterflies and I was so nervous. But I was also comfortable in his company. We had held hands like until the movie ended and we left the cinema. There was a little restaurant across the road so we went over for dinner, we were both pretty hungry, I particularly wasn't hungry for food though. I found out that this little restaurant had quite a few situated around Melbourne and that it was one of his favourite restaurants, I asked him what he would recommend and he told me, im glad I ordered what he suggested because I loved every bite of it. When we left the restaurant it had started to rain and I had walked to the cinema as it was only 5 minutes away from my house. He had offered to drive so I took the offer, we spoke a little bit more and I asked him how he felt and he told me he enjoyed being in my company. We pulled up a little ways down the road from my house, and I was feeling very confident with myself, we spoke a little bit more and made plans for another time, then I leaned in for a kiss and I was very shocked when he kissed me back. I felt the butterflies leave my body and all I felt was comfort and love for him. Sadly he couldn't stay the night because he had to study. I went inside, straight to bed with the biggest smile on my face, and I hugged my pillow until I fell asleep, imaging the warmth and the comfort was me holding onto him.
