When the sun had risen the group was now dressed and having breakfast well... Except for Liam."where's Liam?" Josh said, everyone shrugged none of them had actually thought about checking up on him. Before they were done with breakfast Cleo went upstairs with Josh to check on Liam, they knocked on his bedroom door but no answer.
"Liam bro open up. We're worried about you" Josh said clearly frustrated by the situation at hand. But still no answer came. Josh was about to break the door when it suddenly opened. "m...m..morning" Liam said,he was as pale as a ghost. Well it would make sense since he did encounter a demon in his room last night, "what happened to you?" Charles said as he climbed up the stairs with Kelly behind him, they had decided to come upstairs to check on Liam too. "L..look I s..saw a d..demon last night" Liam said as he shook with fear, "oh come on!" Kelly said as she rolled her eyes "Don't Tell me you really believe in all that nonsense.
Like seriously what the fuck happened to you?. You were literally the only one that agreed with me last night that all this is hogwash" Kelly said as she applied more eye shadow to her eyelids. "Well it's true! I saw it last night. He knew my name and everything" Liam said but the others looked at him with fear except Kelly,"look he even left marks on my neck when he attacked me last night!" Liam said as he showed them his neck.
"Lol so the 'demon' gave you a hickey?" Kelly said as she laughed. Then with further persuasion from Liam she went closer to look at his neck "Um Liam there's nothing on your neck.. there are no marks whatsoever" Kelly said as she rolled her eyes and went down the stairs making sure she shook her head before going down the staircase.
Charles, Josh and Cleo just looked at each other they couldn't forget what happened last night and they didn't want to doubt Liam either because it was not possible for Liam to change his opinion about paranormal forces. He was someone that never believed in that, despite having parents from Africa he never believed in any of that he found it dumb and saw it as an excuse for people who couldn't explain some occurrences to blame it on unknown forces and call it "paranormal".
So when they saw him this shaken about seeing a demon in his room. They definitely knew something was going on. "C'mon bro I'll get you something to eat ok?" Charles said he had a sick feeling in his stomach he couldn't ignore.
He knew Liam would never make something like this up but if he was right it definitely meant they were in trouble and nothing was going to save them now. Not even denial of the obvious.
After Liam had gotten something to eat and he had also dressed up. The group got into their separate cars and drove off.
