They'll take her body away

After leaving Mabel's house hurriedly, the friends went home, "Wow, we've gotten into such a mess. How the fuck are we even going to make it out of this alive?? We are doomed, we're all going to die" Liam said as he sat on the floor and looked at his friends, he was tired and he didn't think there was any hope of finding a solution, he was going to die and so were his friends;the only people he considered family in this world, thinking about it made unwilling tears roll down his cheeks. Why did this have to happen to them?

" No, there's always a light at the end of tunnel. We are going to get through this, I know it. I love you guys so much, I won't let us die like this. Never, we just have to stick together okay? I'm sure with Mabel's help and more research we'll find a way out of this for ourselves and for everyone in this city" Cleo said as she bent to Liam's level and hugged him, the rest of the friends got down on the floor and hugged one another.

They were going to get through this, they had to." I love you guys but this emotional stuff isn't so good for a tough guy like me and I'm hungry so.." Charles said as he got up , "let's eat! Cleo, will you cook? I've been missing your food ever since we got here" Liam said as he cut in," I'll get dinner started then" Cleo said as she made her way to the kitchen and put on an apron." We're going to have Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes for dinner. How does that sound? " Cleo added as she poked her head out of the kitchen door." Yum" Josh said as he winked at her, Cleo blushed and went back into the kitchen.

"Dinner is served!!" Cleo said as she came out of the kitchen with her apron in her hand." Why don't you go have a bath? You're sweaty. We won't start eating until you're back" Kelly said as she smiled at Cleo," Alright then , I'll go have my bath" Cleo said as she went upstairs." I'll join you, babe." Josh said as he smacked his lips and joined Cleo. "Well... they'll be gone for a while. So let's just watch some TV. Yh?" Liam said as he switched on the TV.

"We're back, I really needed that shower, it was quite relaxing" Cleo said as she hugged Josh," whoa there, we do not need any details of what went down with y'all in the bathroom. Ok? Jeez, I haven't eaten food yet. Don't spoil my appetite" Liam said as he raised up a serving spoon." Jeez calm down man. We weren't going to say anything" Josh said as he laughed and sat down. Soon they sat down and had dinner," who's going to do the dishes? Definitely not me, I cooked so I ain't doing them,plus I'm pregnant now" Cleo said as she patted her food baby.

" Well not it!" Liam and Charles said as they raised their hands. "Well.. that only leaves Josh and..." Cleo said as she was cut off.

Ring ring ringggg

" Whose phone is it?" Charles said as he looked at his phone." Well, it's not any of our phones tho. I'm guessing it's the land line?" Liam said as he walked over to the land line and sure enough it was ringing, he answered the call. "Wait?? What? Hm okay, I see. Well... Oh can we see her tomorrow morning?" Liam said as he made gestures to his friends to come closer, he ended the call and looked at his friends.

"Well... Mabel is dead, they say she was found dead in the woods minutes after we left.. they didn't touch the body tho because it'd have taken time to call the hospital to come take her body before dark so they'll take her body away first thing tomorrow morning by 9am..." Liam said as his voice broke with tears, yes he might not have liked her but she was the only one willingly to help them and now she was dead.

The friends sat in silence but not completely silence occasional sobs were heard from Kelly and Cleo as their bodies shook. It was a really sad thing to hear.

What would happen to them now? Was it the things that killed Mabel because she was helping them?They didn't know.

This was all too much but one thing was certain no more fooling around they had to act fast before one of them became the victims of what was wrecking and taking the lives of people of this City.
