Why we were warned

On their way to the bar Kelly kept talking about a lot of things, Bags and many other topics but the group was distant and didn't really pay much attention to her until they saw a man lying on the floor, he seemed to be unconscious or asleep.

"Ew what the f*ck is that guy doing on the floor he must be homeless or something" Kelly said as she wrinkled her nose in disgust. "Kelly you really shouldn't say such things about people yunno? It's rude" Charles said as he also turned his attention to the man lying on the floor,"ugh fine here you go get yourself a life and what not" Kelly said as she threw money on the man "c'mon let's go already" Liam said as he dragged Cleo and Josh from the scene.

They walked for a while and looked round the city,it was really quiet with no car in sight "there are no cars here. I wonder why?" Kelly said as she adjusted her make-up "well what the h*ll do you think??

People aren't outside because they're obviously following the rule we were meant to keep but we're outside because of you" Josh said.

He wasn't one that really shouted at people but he got irritated by every second that passed,they were outside with all the residents of that city indoors if something happened to them who would help them?.

Kelly stared at him for a while, the silence was intense then she turned around and continued walking to their destination. The others had no choice but to follow her(because of the oath).

"We're here" Kelly said after she stopped in front of a bar, it looked legit, they saw the lights that spelt out "Max's". But there was one problem when it was time for them to go inside... It was closed at least that's what the sign said but they could still see light from the inside.

Liam knocked not minding how much noise he made. His lousy knocking did pay off because they ended up seeing the head of a man when they gestured that he open the door and let them in. He shook his head,mouthed "go away" and shut the blinds.

Kelly was dumbfounded she had never felt so insulted she wanted to continue knocking and make sure he got a piece of her mind for not letting them in but Charles dragged her away "we should go home right now it's getting late and seeing as the street is empty it would be unwise to call attention to ourselves by making noise" he said as he made sure to make eye contact with Kelly.

She didn't argue and the group proceeded on their walk home. As they walked on the sidewalk which was lit by the street lights a few minutes ago,on their way to the bar they noticed the once lit street lights were now flickering "oh no f*ck no" Cleo said as she hugged Josh tight.

"I think we're about to meet one of the reasons why we were warned not to go out tonight" Josh swallowed as he brought out a pocket knife and used his body to cover Cleo like a shield.
