"aperietur haec ianua omnibus quaerentibus scientiam et omnibus qui fortiter resistunt mortem" Cleo said as she read the words on the door frame, everything was quiet for a while as they waited, the door glowed and then it opened. "Great work Cleo!" Kelly said as she hugged her.

They entered the passage with torches and walked cautiously in silence. "So where did you learn Latin?" Josh asked, "well, my grandma had these books about some languages and I liked to read but she always made sure I knew more languages than Hindi and English." Cleo said as she paused for a bit to listen.

"Nicee, so you're practically a language goddess huh?" Liam said as he accidentally walked into Cleo, "yh but shush for a sec I think I hear something " Cleo said as she motioned for all her friends be still and quiet and then they heard it.

Tap tap tap

It was another set of foot steps but it wasn't theirs. "Oh, fuck.We. Have.To. Move. Now" Cleo said as she ran in direction of the archives. The friends ran, they didn't want to find out who or what made those foot steps. They had to get to the archives quick then they'd think of a way out after. When they got to the archives, they shut the heavy steel door.

This was probably a bad idea because if they were killed their bodies would not be found. "Let's look for the books, when we find them. We'll find a way out of here" Charles whispered and his friends went to the section Mabel had directed them to before and picked out as many books as they could carry without checking the titles.

"Okay, done. Now how do we get the hell out of here?! I'm not ready to die in an archive" Kelly whispered frantically as she put all the books in the bag she had brought. The friends scattered around the archives pushing and pulling on the shelves in the archives for a way out. It literally sounded dumb a secret passage out of a secret passage? But they didn't have any choice. They just had to try. "I found something" Cleo said as she rolled up an old rug that revealed a trap door. "Where does this even lead to?" Liam asked, "it leads outside" Josh said as he held his hand over the trap door.

"How can you be so sure that this is a way out? How are we so sure that what we're running from isn't a someone and not something??" Kelly asked, "well, I can feel some kind of air blowing out. Then as for your second question.

I don't know but either way. We are not supposed to be here. It could be one of the people Mabel said that didn't like her helping us. Who knows?" He replied. "Let's go" Charles said as he opened it and jumped through. Soon enough the friends followed him into the trap door. Cleo being the last made sure she closed the hatch.

"Okay.. there, look! An exit out of this damned hole" Liam said as he ran to the door but someone was blocking his way. It was a pale girl or lady with long hair that reached her ankles, normally the appearance of another human being wouldn't have stopped Liam but he felt something was wrong.

For one, he couldn't see her face because her hair covered it and she wore a white dress... That was soaked in blood. Liam backed away and ran to his friends.

"Who are you?!" Charles asked as he gripped the bat he had been holding all night, she didn't answer, instead the hair that covered her face turned grey and parted to show her face. Her face was bloody especially her mouth region as she smiled more blood came out.

I'm here to bring you pain.

She said as she lunged towards them
"Stay away from me and my friends" Charles said as he gripped the bat tighter and swung at the ghoul, her head simply changed direction

Haha too bad I can't be the one to kill you. I'm only here to have fun

She said as she backhanded Charles and sent him to the side. "Charles! Nooo!" Cleo and Kelly shouted as they rushed to Charles.

Charles groaned in pain as Cleo touched his side, "Are you okay?" Cleo asked as she sobbed, Charles nodded as he coughed out some blood, he looked at Cleo and Kelly for a while before his eyes became wide, "Look out!" Charles said but it was too late. She had struck again.
