After a spectacular game last night, the Colgate Raiders head to Rochester, New York to finish the home and home with the Tigers tonight. Charlie Finn and Mike Rotollo matched zeros in the first period so, we'll skate to a scoreless, first intermission tie. With 11:17 left in the second period, Tim Harrison scored his first goal of the season, on the power play to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 8:54 left in the second period, Alex Perron-Fontaine scored to tie the game 1-1. With 6:49 left in the second period, Brett Corkey scored his second goal of the season to make it 2-1 Raiders. Finn and Rotollo matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Hamiltonians it remains heading to the third period. With 18:58 left in the third period, Gregory Amlong scored to tie the game 2-2. With 8:20 left in the third period, Mike Borkowski scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 3-2 Colgate. With 4:49 left in the third period, Myles Powell scored to tie the game 3-3. With 1:28 left in the third period, Darcy Murphy scored his first goal of the season to make it 4-3 Hamiltonians! Charlie Finn finished off the Tigers and Colgate sweeps the home and home by a score of 4-3! Colgate improved to 3-2-0 on the season!
