After a miserable weekend last week, the Colgate Raiders return to Starr Rink to play the hottest team in college hockey, the Quinnipiac Bobcats tonight to start ECAC Hockey play. With 2:31 left in the first period, Tim Clifton scored to make it 1-0 Bobcats. Charlie Finn and Michael Garteig matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Quinnipiac it remains heading to the second period. With 13:10 left in the second period, Sam Anas scored to make it 2-0 Bobcats. With 8:12 left in the second period, Sebastian Weberg scored his second goal of the season to make it 2-1 Quinnipiac. With 7:46 left in the second period, Tim Harrison scored his third goal of the season to tie the game 2-2. Finn and Garteig matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, we'll skate to a 2-2,second intermission tie. With 14:48 left in the third period, Kevin McKernan scored to make it 3-2 Quinnipiac. Michael Garteig finished off the Raiders and Quinnipiac wins 3-2. Colgate dropped to 3-5-0 on the season and 0-1-0 in ECAC Hockey play.
