After an embarrassing loss last night, the Colgate Raiders return to Starr Rink to play the Cornell Big Red on Saturday night in Hamilton. With 16:20 left in the first period, Tyson Spink scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 4:25 left in the first period, Patrick McCarron scored to tie the game 1-1. With 2:31 left in the first period, Brett Corkey scored his third goal of the season, on the 5 on 3 power play to make it 2-1 Colgate. Charlie Finn and Mitch Gillam matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Raiders it remains heading to the second period. With 2:08 left in the second period, Matt Buckles scored to tie the game 2-2. Finn and Gillam matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, we'll head to the second intermission dressing rooms. With 18:50 left in the third period, Anthony Angello scored to make it 3-2 Cornell. Mitch Gillam matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Cornell wins 3-2. Colgate dropped to 4-7-0 on the season and 1-3-0 in ECAC Hockey play.
