After another frustrating loss last night, the Colgate Raiders return to Orono to finish the weekend series with Maine in the weekend series finale tonight. With 2:43 left in the first period, Darcy Murphy scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. Zac Hamilton and Matt Morris matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Hamiltonians it stands heading to the second period. With 16:07 left in the second period, Dan Renouf scored to tie the game 1-1. With 14:21 left in the second period, Jake Kulevich scored his third goal of the season to make it 2-1 Raiders. Hamilton and Morris matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Colgate it remains heading to the second intermission dressing rooms. With 14:34 left in the third period, Mike Borkowski scored his ninth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 3-1 Raiders. With 11:32 left in the third period, Evan Peterson scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 4-1 Colgate. With 9:48 left in the third period, Tylor Spink scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 5-1 Hamiltonians! Zac Hamilton finished off the Black Bears and Colgate wins 5-1! Colgate improved to 6-14-1 on the season!
