After another devastating loss last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders head to Canton,New York to play the St. Lawrence Saints tonight at Torrey Rink. With 16:26 left in the first period, Joe Sullivan scored to make it 1-0 Skating Saints. With 13:08 left in the first period, Drew Smolcynski scored to make it 2-0 St. Lawrence. Charlie Finn and Kyle Hayton matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-0 SLU it remains heading to the second period. With 16:17 left in the second period, Mike Panowyk scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 2-1 Saints. With 10:25 left in the second period, Rory McGuire scored his first goal of the season to tie the game 2-2. With 1:30 left in the second period, Drew Smolcynski scored to make it 3-2 St. Lawrence. Finn and Hayton matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 3-2 Skating Saints heading to the third period. With 49 seconds left in the third period, Sean McGovern scored to make it 4-2 St. Lawrence. Kyle Hayton finished off the Hamiltonians and St. Lawrence wins 4-2. Colgate dropped to 7-17-2 on the season and 3-9-2 in ECAC Hockey play.
