After returning to the United States, the Colgate Raiders return to wonderful Starr Rink to play one of their biggest rivals, the Clarkson Golden Knights tonight in Central New York. Charlie Finn and Greg Lewis matched zeros in the first period so, we'll skate to a scoreless, first intermission tie. With 6:46 left in the second period, Darcy Murphy scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 2:26 left in the second period, Todd Christian scored to tie the game 1-1. Finn and Lewis matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, we'll skate to an 1-1,second intermission tie. With 7:24 left in the third period, Tyson Spink scored his seventh goal of the season, on the power play to make it 2-1 Raiders! Charlie Finn finished off the Golden Knights and Colgate wins the final game against Clarkson at Starr Rink by a score of 2-1! Colgate improved to 5-10-1 on the season and 2-5-1 in ECAC Hockey play!
