Cyran's POV:
I wait outside my place waiting for Flare to show up for our alone time. I was so happy for it to just be her and me with no more distractions. No friends, just the two of us for a few weeks. Her car pulled in so I ran over as she got her seat belt off. I picked her up out of the car and hugged her, I kissed her, so happy to have her here.
"My Princess is finally here and I am so happy," I give her another kiss.
"Hehe, I'm happy to be here as well, baby. A full month with my handsome werewolf boyfriend," She kisses my nose.
I help bring her things into the house and get some of her things for her art set up in one of the spare rooms. A month is a long time so if I get called into work she can work on her commissions. I'm hoping work will not get in the way of too much of our alone time. When all was set up we got many snacks, drinks, blankets and pillows. We lay in my bed watching movies the rest of the day and ordered food. I didn't feel like cooking at all as I wanted to spend all my time with my girl.
Since it was February and Valentine's day was this month I had a massive plan for us. The whole nine yards, roses, home-cooked dinner, candles, I was gonna make it a Valentine's day to remember. I am going to prove my love for her on this big day. I couldn't wait and I was so excited. This was gonna be bigger and better than any of our other dates before.
Flare and I cuddle one another as we sleep when I get rudely woken up by my phone ringing so I pick up.
"Boss we have a problem," Fabio said on the other end of the line.
"Fucking hell, what now?" I was pissed already so I just hold Flare close so she calms me down.
"Xavier Wolram is hunting for you and he seems pissed off," He tells me.
I felt my heart stop and my eyes move to look at Flare, she couldn't get mixed up with this or she can get hurt or worse. I just hang up the call as I move her so I can start packing her stuff, she can not be here when he finds me as there will be bloodshed. I hear her waking up so I check and I see her sitting up in the bed, rubbing her eyes.
"Something wrong babe, why are you packing my things?" She sounded so tired.
I rush to the bedside and hold her face in my hands, "I'm sorry but you have to go back home now. Bad things are gonna happen and I can't let you get hurt," I can see that hurt her.
"B-but I just got here five days ago and you said I could stay a month," She sounded so upset.
I went back to packing her things, "I know what I said but things changed, you know how my job changes day by day. I'll make it up to you I swear Princess but please listen to me, you have to leave now."
"No, I'm not leaving, we can do this toge..." She started to unpack her things.
"Princess I can't have you fighting me on this, you have to leave, it's for your own safety."
"No, you are not getting rid of me like that, you promised I could stay so we can spend time with one another."
"FLARE I KNOW WHAT I SAID, I can not have you here when shit hits the fan. You can and most likely will get hurt or worse, you will listen to me and you will go straight back home." I raised my voice as she wasn't hearing me that this was a bad thing. "Just get out Flare, I don't wanna see you right now." I see that hurt her but it broke my heart to ever say that to her, I really didn't mean it.
She started to gather her things and packed them away, I can even see her crying as she was doing it. My heart felt broken but it was the only way to protect her from Wolram, that asshole will use her agent me. I can't let her get hurt because of me so she has to be as far away from here as possible.
She got all her stuff and packed her car then she got in. I just slam my door closed acting like I was pissed with her but I was far from pissed, I was downright terrified for her. I hear her car turn over and she leaves the driveway. I lean on the door and slowly slide down grabbing at my hair. Nearly two happy years together all put away because of this bastard, I'm so gonna kill him so he can never come for me again.
"FUCKING HELL!! I'm so sorry Flare and I swear I love you, I always have and always will love you and only you. I'll fight for us to be together again, my love, my Princess." I kiss the necklace she got me as a one-year anniversary gift.
