"Vade i've been thru too much shit just to give my trust to anyone." I said.

I sighed and wrapped my pinky around his.

He handed me my phone and got up to go in the room.
I took my shirt and pants off and started ordering some food.
"Babe what you ordering?" He asked.
"Um I was gonna get chinese-"
I was cut off by a loud bang on my door followed by "Mississippi Police!".

I watched Vade come from the room and try to open the door , I jumped up and pushed him away from the door.
I pointed him to the couch.
I opened the door.
"We have a warrant out for Various Wilson." An office said.
"Warrant for what?!" I asked.
"I'm not allowed to discuss this with you at this time." The officer said.
Three other officers bussed thru the door and grabbed Vade.
They threw the handcuffs on him as he screamed for help and I could do was watch.
"Yo what did I do?!" He asked.
"You are under arrest for the murder of Malik Jhonson. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law-" The officer said.
"Who is Malik?!" I questioned.
"Shae's brother .." Vade finally said.
Before I ever got the chance to kiss him goodbye , they snatched him away and down the hallway.
It just one thing after a fucking other.
"Call me when you get there! I love you .." I yelled out , hoping for a response.
I never got one.
This shit just is never gonna end.
I had to wait till he called me for me to even try to understand what was gonna happen to him.
I don't want my baby locked up.
And it was eating me up inside that I couldn't just go get him and bring him home.
I grabbed my phone and sat by it , waiting for his called.
I was worried especially since the last time he was there , they jumped him.
I called my mom.
"Ma." I said , on the verge of tears.
"What's wrong now baby?" She asked.
"They took him .. they arrested Vade ma , ion know what to do." I said , dropping tears.
"See , I done told you bout fucking with these thug ass lil boys now yo ass in that house crien once again! Ima leave Valoure with Tayler. I'm on my way." She said.
"Okay." I cried.
Although my mom always checks me on my wrongs , she'll always be there for me even after I got my own feelings hurt.
Less than 20 minutes later , she was at my house.
She was sitting on the couch cradling me.
"Ma he hasn't called , i'm getting worried. What if they hurt him , did they hurt him? Maybe I should call the precinct-"
"Carson calm down. he's fine , they have to book him in first and then i'm sure he will call." My mom said.
"I'm scared .. I never thought I would said this but I really love this boy ma. But he act so much like daddy and it's scary." I said.
"He knocking you between the washer and dryer every tuesday too?" She said , cracking a joke.
"No he don't beat on me but .. he don't do well with police , he wasn't ready to be father , he got a successful rap career , he's just like daddy and every other way." I said.
"Baby .. now you know that love ain't nothing to play bout. And i'm scared that you gon get too attached to this boy and won't be able to live without him. I don't want that for you because you know that's how I was with yo daddy before I found my self worth. I just want you to be safe. You used to be so hard to talk too when it came down to these men. Hell , you wouldn't even let a boy look at you without thinking he wanted to fight. The old you is disappearing and I don't think he should." She said.
"So .. your saying I should put my guard back up?" I asked.
"No .. i'm saying , don't get too comfortable with dealing with a man who one , keep getting into it with the law , can't stop fucking with females when he claims he's all for you , and one who doesn't respect you as a person. I love you and want you to be careful. You understand?" She said.
