"You sure?" Ty asked.
"Yea .. what you came over here for anyway?"I asked.
"I came to drop off some weed to Tay .. she here?"He asked.
"Nope .. still in the streets I see. After everything I did for you. After getting scolded by my mother and called a disappointment .. after YOU left me. You ghosted me. When you KNEW everything I was going thru in this house and you chose not to care!" I said.
"You just said it was cool Carson .." He said.
"Well I lied. Goodbye." I said , closing the door in his face.

The sound of the door , woke up Valoure.
I went to the room and picked him up.
I sat in my bed and bounced him until he fell back asleep.
I grabbed my phone and called Kalone.

"Yess bestfriend of mine?" He said.
"Bitch why Ty just brung his ass over here?" I said.
"What Ty?!" Kalone said.
"Ty'sean! Came over here talking about he was dropping some weed off to Tayler. Can you believe he still in the streets? After everything I did for him." I said.
"Now you know how you get around ex's .. be careful with that one. Ty'sean is the type to reel you back in and force you out when he's done with you. And you know this." Kalone said.
"I don't want Ty'sean no more. That is old news." I said.

The next morning .. 10:36 am.

I got dressed and picked out Valoure's outfit for the day.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water.
There was a knock at the door.
I went and opened the door.
It was Ty'sean .. again.

"Yes Ty'sean?" I asked.
"Damn Carson .. you look good." Ty'sean said.
"Boy .." I said , blushing and laughing.
"You still mad at me?" He asked.
"Ty'sean .. I was mad at you last night but now i'm over the whole situation. Like I said , we were kids but I never expected you to go ghost on me like that." I said.
"After Ms.faye caught us .. I just felt like I needed to keep you out of my situation. I wanted to keep you safe." He said.
"But that's the thing .. I didn't want you to keep me safe. I wanted to be with you. Even after everything you put my 14 year old ass thru , I still wanted you around." I said.
"And I wanted to be around .. but I didn't want you hurt or worse." He said.
"I understand ..." I said.

He grabbed my face and kissed me.
Not a make out.
Just a long , deep kiss.
I haven't felt his lips since we were 14 and 16.
I missed someone that I didn't even know I missed.
We broke from the kiss.
Then .. my momma came out her room.

"Who that is at dat doe?" She asked.
"Um .." I said wiping my mouth.
"OH HELL NO! GET HIS ASS OUT MY FRONT DOOR! CARSON IM NOT GOING THRU THIS SHIT WITH YOU AGAIN!" My mom said.
"Ma .." I said.
"Close my front door NOW!" I said.

I closed the door and rolled my eyes at her.
I went in my room and closed my door.
Valoure was asleep.
That kiss with Ty made me all fluttery inside nd I don't know why.
I haven't seen that boy in over 8 years and for him to just pop back up in my life and make me feel all kinds of ways was weird.
Then .. Vade called.

"Hello?" I said.
"I wanna see my son." Vade said.
"I'll send you momma address so you can see him? You wanna take him out or sum?" I asked.
"Nah , just wanna see his face real quick. What's up with you? You good?" He asked.
"I'm chilling big bro." I said.
"Big bro? We bro's now?" He asked.
"Vade ion know what we is right now .. I honestly don't want anything to do with you while you involved with that drug shit." I said.
"Carson i'm making money , isn't that all that matter? I'm supporting my son , i'm making sure he has everything he needs with this drug shit .. you need to be proud of me." He said.
"Proud of you?? I hate the fact that you look at drug money as easy money. Vade when you end up back in jail or in the morgue .. I'll pray for you but that's all. I'm not holding you down no more. You free from me , do you. I'll send you the address so you can see your son." I said before hanging up.

I started waking up Valoure and getting him dressed to see his dad.
While getting him dressed , I cried a lil because I really just broke up with the nigga I love the most.
But i'm doing it for the safety of his kid.
I finished getting Valoure ready.

I sat him on the floor and let him crawl around while I listened to some music.
Vade texted me.
Vade: I'm outside.
Me: Okay, come in.
He knocked and my mom let him in.

We went in the room.
He immediately grabbed Valoure.
He threw his son up in the air and the giggles Valoure let out were so heartwarming and sweet.
Vade kissed Valoure's cheek what looked like a hundred times.

"Ughh I missed you so much fat man." Vade said to his son.
"He's tired , lay down with him so he can take his nap." I said.
"Aight."

Vade took of Valoure's jean jacket and laid down with him.

20 minutes later ..

They was both knocked out cold.
They both looked so peaceful.
I missed this.
I missed us but I knew I would never wanna be involved with that shit he in.
I loved him but I just can't do it.
