She had stopped by Rachel's gynae to know the baby's gender. She is very happy and thrilled that she is going to be the aunt of a boy. Yes! Joseph and Rachel are having a boy. A tiny little Claremont Guy is on his way.
She is a bit upset that David could not accompany her like he had promised, but she was more worried for him. He did sound a bit off that afternoon over his texts. Well, one could always find out. She wouldn't pester him for explanations. If it were for her to know, he would never hide it from her.
Janet presses in the password to David's main door, and twists the door handle, which immediately scans her thumb print, and unlocks itself.
Janet is greeted by David's living room, lit dimly.
Janet lets out a giggle and calls out while locking the door shut. "David?"

Soon a smiling David Richards, shirtless in his grey sweatpants, makes his way down the stairs. "Welcome Home, Sweet." He laughs. "I wanted to cook, I promise, but I took a long nap and woke up fifteen minutes ago." He says, coming towards her. Placing a bunch of feather light kisses on her face.
"I love you." Janet whispers.
"I know. I love you more." David replies snaking am arm around her waist and pulling her into the apartment.
"How about you get comfy, Baby? And join me for dinner." He says as Janet takes her heels in her hands and slips into some comfortable slippers.
"Okay." Janet mutter giving him a kiss, playfully brushing her fingernails over his abs.
"Get ready as I order something up quick." David calls as Janet leaves for the master bedroom laughing.
