A warm hand on the small of her back and a familiar cologne makes turn to her right. David Richards is by her side. A small smile on his face, making him look too handsome for his own good in his all black outfit.

"How are you holding up?" He asks.

"I'm okay, I guess." Janet replies with a small smile. "Erm. David, I think I should thank you for staying with me at the hospital. I know you've been missing a lot of meetings lately." She says.

David is about to deny when she stops him. "No. Don't lie to me." She says with a small smile. Earning one in return.

"Mr. Richards." Jonathan Claremont says walking up to the two.

David removes his hand from Janet's back. "Mr. Claremont. Me and my family offer our deep condolences, Sir." David says shaking Janet's father's hand.

"Thank you, young man. I gather you've taken interest in my daughter." Janet's father begins. Janet's eyes widen, where as David maintains his resting face.

"Dad. Not here, please." Janet says.

"No. I think it's absolutely okay. All want to say is, mixing emotions with business is not a good choice. I hope any mishap between the two of you doesn't ruin our years and years of business relations." He warns.

"I assure you, Sir. No such thing will happen." David says with a straight face.

"Joseph is the one handling things now, Dad. You need not worry about your business relations." Janet says and leaves.

"Now now. She doesn't understand. I don't have anything against you. But I hope you have her best interests in mind. Just like I do." Jonathan says.
