I finally made it, thank God!

After Kendrick lectured me, I did as promised. I limited my working to 3 or 4 times a week and no more than 7 hours. For the most part, I focused on my health, my sleeping, schoolwork, and family. I even started taking morning walks around the block a few times like twice a week.

It's made a world of difference and I feel better.

My trip to Bora Bora with Kendrick was amazing. Nothing super eventful happened other than relaxation, dates, swimming, pictures & videos, delicious food, funny memories, and lots of sex. TMI but it's the truth.

The trip was much needed. Next thing you know, the week was over and we were heading home. Then he was giving me a hug and kiss because he was leaving for tour.

A month later and of yesterday, I'm officially 23 weeks along. Baby is doing super well and growing so fast. Since Kendrick will be absent, my mom volunteered herself go to the my appointments with me. I heard the heartbeat again, it makes me emotional everytime.

But last night, Kendrick lived up to his promise. He surprised me and made it home before my graduation, which is today.

I fucking made it! I'm officially done with school and I've been declared valedictorian! So I have to say a speech today. I've come a long way, I really have and I'm so proud of myself. No matter how hard it got, I didn't give up. That says a lot.

My dad is heavy on mind. I wish he was here but as always, I dedicate this achievement to him. I tried to call him the night before but he didn't answer. I was bummed because I really wanted to talk to him but I left a message. I wonder if he got it, he hasn't gotten back to me yet.

But anyways, it's almost that time. My graduation starts at 3pm. It's noon and I was finishing up getting ready.

I'm beyond nervous but ready. I put on a comfortable yet formal white dress with heels, I haven't put the shoes on yet though. The picture I have on my cap has a white dress so I'm wearing white. I'm being hella brave because I just know my dress is gonna have stains and my feet is gonna sore later.

"Kay, you ready baby?," I heard Kendrick asked, coming towards our bedroom.

I took a deep breath," Yeah, almost."

He came in the bathroom and turned to him," How do I look?"

He looked me up and down," Damn."

I giggled," Be honest."

"Damn," he repeated.

He says that all the time because that is the safest thing to say along with beautiful. I've caught on to it but whatever. I have overreacted before but it wasn't a big deal.

I rolled my eyes and went back to touching up my hair. I got a silk press down from of the girls from my salon because I refuse to deal with the mess myself. Pray for me because it's hot as hell outside and I have to wear my cap and gown with this head of thick ass hair.

Kendrick stood behind me and started rubbing on my belly.

"You look so gorgeous. Our baby girl is lucky to have you as a mama," he whispered my ear.

"Thank you. Let's hope we're having a girl," I chuckled.

"We are," he smiled.

Speak it into existence, I guess. We shall find out soon.

Once I was playing with my hair, I turned towards Kendrick. I put my forehead against his.

"Are you nervous?," he asked.
