93. Jenga

1/2 updates for today, September 9th, 2022.  Thank you for your patience.  I have edited these two chapters, but not fiercely.  I apologize in advance for any mistakes.  If anyone wants to point them out, I can fix them.  Hope you enjoy anyway ^_^

You know, things have been nice. Too nice. It's always the times like these where things tend to fuck up. I'm probably worrying for nothing... Yeah, that's code for shit is totally going to hit the fan. So I just need to think negatively? Like 'Shit is going to hit the fan' or 'brace for impact.' ... Nothing happened. Of course it didn't. The universe does not listen to instructions.

Well, even if something blows up soon, I'm not going to be worried. I wouldn't be chilling in these hunky arms if I was. These men can handle a lot. I have faith in them. Still, I'm not putting it past the universe to throw us a shitty curve ball. While I wait for lady Karma to try and fuck me up, I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing.

We are now on week two of trying for babies. We've been very aggressive about this. Some swimmers had to have made it by now.

Everyday, I get sniffed by the family. Okay, it's mostly Shuu, but it's happening. He's trying to detect the small shift in my BO that will tell him I'm pregnant. Harvey doesn't have magical ape powers, so he has to wait for a smell change or a detectable heartbeat. The scent thing will happen first and Shuu has the best sniffer, so he's checking a lot.

I don't know if it's due to my increasing luck stat, but Qingqing hasn't come to bug me in a while. I know she was pregnant. Maybe she's giving birth? If she is, I can brag about fucking up the timeline again. She should thank me. Now she won't have to run for her life while super pregnant. Then again, she'd have to run for her life with kittens in tow now.

Shit. Those poor babies. No, can't think about that. I'm no hero and I can't save them all. I'm sure she's got enough plot armor left to include her kids too.

I shifted and tried to turn over. I was cooking again. Once Shuu realized I was burning hotter than Hades, he jumped up to get water and a fan. Man can wake up fast when he wants to. I admired that nice ass as he left the room and again when he came back.

I got cleaned up and did my normal after sex routine. It wasn't much different than the regular routine, only with the added soreness. Once I was satisfied, Shuu and Harvey checked me over. Winston and Alec were out hunting today and not here to participate.

Shuu sniffed aggressively like he was trying to tell if his milk was on the edge of spoiling of not. So glad I could be that milk. When he was done he killed me with a killer-watt smile. Considering he does this everyday, I can't really tell if it's a yes or no. Am I preggers or not? I tried the tat.

He swept me up into a hug that caught me off guard. He held me up like Simba and I'd be lying if I said his excitement wasn't contagious. Even without the tat feeding me so strongly right now, I would've felt the same.

I beamed right back at my happy wolf man. "I take it the mission has succeeded?" I asked. Looks like the swimmers made it to the goal.

"Yes," Shuu answered enthusiastically.

Harvey watched with a soft smile on his face. He could feel the positive emotions through their bond and see it. It warmed his heart to experience that joy with them.

"Harvey," Drew said with unconcealed joy. "We are going to have puppies!" Harvey smiled wider at that.

When Shuu set me down, I tackled Harvey. He caught me of course, but looked kind of surprised. I wasn't even trying, but I'll take it.
