~○Part 1○~

Alexander: I remember that day at the All-Valley Karate Tournament years ago when we were just kids...winning the tournament was a start of a new chapter in my life. I went from the new kid from the Caribbean to a karate legend. While it was a new chapter, unfortunately, I didn't stay on the same page with everyone, cause 6 months later me, and Angelica broke up. Things just weren't working out. One person I did stay close to was Mr. Washington.

Once I had finished school, me and Mr. Washington had a trip down to Virginia to settle some business of his. Well technically it was more personal than business, it was a rival of his. I also had a run-in with a peppy prancy jerk, but we don't have to speak on him (unless I'm using colorful language). A lot went down then and I also met another girl. I thought she was the one, but we didn't end up together either.

Then I finally met Eliza, and man was I the luckiest guy on earth. She was the one. Eliza was one of the sweetest and most genuine girls I've ever met, and she still is. And it felt like starting a whole new chapter all over again. We started a family together, a business together, I'd be darned if we didn't do something together. Since then there has been love in my life and there has been a loss in my life, but what can you do when life is just non-stop?

Alex yawned awake as he pushed himself up in bed so he could sit straight. The morning sun was streaming through the windows as someone had opened the curtains.

As he wiped his eyes he turned to see the spot beside him in his queen-sized bed was now empty. "Well that means Eliza is up.." Alex muttered as he heaved himself out of bed.

"Alexa, play something to get me going," Alex commanded to his voice assistant that was perched on a bedside table.

"Playing motivational music now," Alexa answered back as she began to play "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor. Perfect for pumping up in the morning.

Alex nodded his head accordingly with the beat as he hurried to his closet to get dressed for the day. Once he found his outfit he laid it out on the bed. He stepped back to examine his choice.

"Yup this is it, we're gonna look smoking today, " Alex muttered to himself as he nodded in approval of his outfit. For Alex, self-confidence was the perfect hype man.

As he then made his way to the bathroom, Alex stopped to stare at a hanged photo on the wall that displayed his family. Alex and Eliza were in the back of the photo as the kids were standing in the front.

The oldest, Phillip, was attempting a cool, stylish stance though he didn't quite pull it off.

The second oldest, Angelica, seemed like she was holding in laughter from Phillip's pose while she tried to still concentrate on the camera.

The third child, Alexander Jr, seemed to go for a cool, stylish stance as well but surprisingly he managed to actually pull it off quite well.

The fourth and the fifth child, James and John, were seen with James leaning purposefully with his arm on John's head as he smiled cunningly at the camera, while John was low-key giving him a dirty look but managed to somehow keep a proper smile for the photo.

The youngest child at the moment, William, just was jumping in the air while his face had the adorable innocent smile of a toddler.

Alex couldn't stop his face from stretching into a smile from staring at the photo. He loved his family more than anything else. When he was younger he never thought he would have a family, so this was more than an upgrade. This is everything he wished for.
