 ~○Part 3○~

Frances ran bawling from the party, trying to get as far away as she could. She ended up stopping just right outside the entrance of the school. Once there, she sagged to the ground like a flattened balloon.

She sat there with her head in her hands as she just cried into her knees.

She didn't understand. Her and Angelica had been best friends. She never used to support Starr and her mean antics. She used to even defend her from Starr. Now she is friends with Starr?!

It sucked cause for a moment tonight felt like old times. Like her and Angelica were best friends again, and even though Frances knew it wasn't Angelica's fault that cruel post was made, she knew Angelica wasn't gonna do anything about it. She had continued to be friends with Starr even after she witnessed Starr belittle her in the auditorium, even now she probably still would.

"She isn't the same Angelica.." Frances blubbered as she then attempted to wipe her eyes.

She shivered as she then covered her body as a cold breeze brushed up against her arms.

Though as she sat up, something being carried by the breeze ended up flying into her lap.

It was a poster.

Frances with a puzzled expression picked up the poster to read it. She dabbed at her wet eyes in order to see more clearly.

"...King Cobra Karate.." She mumbled as stared at the heading.

Frances considered the poster for a moment, before throwing it to the side. She couldn't do karate. It wasn't for her.

"Let's not make any more stupid decisions tonight.."

She decided to call her aunt to take her home.

Alex had noticed his daughter leaving the room with Eacker, and took it as his signal to follow.

"I'll be right back," Alex told the other chaperones to excuse himself.

Being a chaperone wasn't as bad as he expected. For most of the night he got to yell at kids, which was actually satisfying considering how disrespectful some of these teens were. Though he also got to give out candy to some people, which was also fun to do.

Though the worst part is he also had to see teens get freaky. Not in the scary way. Well maybe scary that he had to witness it. He was determined to make sure that wouldn't be Angelica in a few moments.

As he walked to the doors of the cafeteria, he passed by a kid who was wearing a costume that made him stop to do a double-take. It was a skeleton outfit. Though not just any skeleton outfit, it looked familiar. It took a moment for it to register, but then he got it. That was a King Cobra costume. He remembered it from the same night of his High School halloween party. As much as he would love (not really) to flashback and remember that incident, it was a story for another day.
