King Cobra Chapter 7 Part 2 "A Striking Date Night"

Pierre stood in a guarded position as he faced a mass of teens. All armed with weapons. All ready for violence. Not a position anybody would want to be in.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk," Ellis now twirled the bat in her hand. "You know I always liked you, Pierre. I wouldn't want that to change. I'll ask you again: Are you with us?"

"That depends on what happens next," Pierre decided. "Go home. Look I get we want to do the right thing but..skipping school..trashing building..it's wrong."

"No, this world is wrong!" Tiffany growled, rushing forward. "And we'll be the ones to fix it. Now get out of the way!"

She tried swinging at him.

Pierre closed his eyes, though when he had reopened them, he performed the block Alex had shown him. "No. I don't think I will." He pulled the weapon out of Tiffany's hand, before throwing her to the floor.

There was a moment's pause as the T.P.S.M clearly hadn't expected that.

"Get him!" Ellis then charged forward along with the others.

Pierre just barely dodged as bats, poles, and sticks attempted to strike him. Though eventually he found some sort of rhythm, and his hands and feet connected smoothly with his mind.

Suddenly he was blocking the array of attacks, disarming people before punching or kicking them to the floor.

Though Pierre held his own for a while, the numbers were a force of themselves. Soon he began to be swarmed by the amount of people.

Soon he was held back with his arms restrained behind his back.

"Let me go," Pierre struggled, but to no avail.

They began hitting him, each blow getting harder.

The blows began to get faster and harder. Soon Pierre's vision flattered, and things began to get blurry.

"You shouldn't have done this." It was Flora's voice. Hearing his friend's voice hurt him more than the hit that came afterwards.

He found himself on the floor afterwards, menacing eyes pinned him to the floor.

"Well Pierre, I think it's time you let us in," Ellis bent low just enough for him to see the glaring threat in her eyes.

With the last of his energy Pierre did a kick that sent Ellis back. Pierre rolled backwards, running inside the library. He slammed the door behind him just as people were about to get inside.

He stood with his back pushed against the door. His body was aching and he was trying to slow his breathing.

Though he smiled. Pierre had done the right thing.

"So you think this will work?" Payne wondered as he sat in Aaron's office, peering on his computer screen.

"It's worth a shot," Aaron simply supplied.

What they were looking at was the date for the All-Valley Under 18 tournament meeting.

Aaron then griminanced, his hesitation surfacing on his face.

"Hey, Sensei," Payne tapped on him. "You got this."
