"I don't want you to think I'm the bad guy in all of this," Loki said, looking up and meeting Mobius's eyes. He sounded like he was on the verge of breaking down.
"Who said you were?" Mobius tilted his head slightly to the side. There was... not exactly pity but more like kindness, understanding on his face. It made Loki want to throw himself in Mobius's arms and cry on his chest like a little boy.

*Been a while since I wrote something about Mobius and Loki. Apparently the dialogue — shown at the D23 Expo event — between them is certainly interesting enough to say the least. I had to briefly drift back into my Lokius bs and write a quick fic about them.
**A quick announcement before we start: I'm currently more active on AO3 than I am on Wattpad. The name on AO3 is Beb. Come say hi there for more writing from me.

Mobius didn't know how he managed to do it, calm the Variant down (Loki. Right. His name was Loki). Ravonna and B-15 always said he 'had it in him' — whatever that meant.
He took Loki back to his apartment. The decision was reckless, impulsive and possibly outright stupid. But Loki seemed terrified. So terrified that he reminded Mobius precisely of a scared little boy. Mobius knew how cold, how... intimidating the TVA holding cell could be. For some reason, he couldn't let Loki sleep there.
He's done bad things, Mobius. B-15 had said after she and Mobius read Loki's files, with Loki waiting for them — for his judgement — in an empty Time Theater Mobius took him to, the one Mobius was sure would not be disturbed by a Minuteman, hours prior to Mobius's bringing Loki home.
(Mobius opted against reporting to Ravonna about Loki, and he'd asked B-15 not to do that. She hesitated, but she promised to humor Mobius's wish in the end, after Mobius assured her he wasn't going to screw anything up.)
You shouldn't trust him, she added. But Mobius had always been ridiculously stubborn.
In the end he promised B-15 he'd be careful. And that... was it.
So now, Mobius took a deep breath, now he had the Variant in his apartment. Mobius never really had a visitor — a houseguest — before, and he lived alone. Loki was.. Mobius probably wasn't going to admit or to make any comment about it, but Loki was the first Mobius took home. Not like... not in that way, of course, they'd only just met and Loki was visibly traumatized.
Loki was beautiful, Mobius wasn't going to try and deny that: he thought Loki might just be the most beautiful person he'd ever laid eyes on. Though Mobius knew it would be inappropriate to let his mind dwell on that for too long.
"Here," he said, voice soft. After Loki reappeared from his bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist, where Mobius let him take a nice, long shower to wash away dirt and sweat, Mobius handed him his clothes, the ones he thought Loki could wear. "I mean it's probably a size too small, but I guess it'll have to do for now."
"It's fine," Loki gave him a faint smile. "Thank you, Mobius."
There was something about the way Loki said his name. Something that made Mobius's heart beat just a little faster, his breath caught in his lungs, and his skin feel like it was on fire. Something about the way Loki said his name made Mobius crave more. It was alarming: how Mobius didn't actually know Loki, but yet Loki already had this much influence on him.
Loki knew him. Or at least, the other Mobius. It was... insane. Not the fact Mobius had a Variant of his own out there somewhere all this time, but the fact Mobius was jealous of his own Variant. For his own Variant got to hear Loki say his name, probably as many times as he wanted.
