Chapter 4 - Cheese?

The streets of Castle Rock were silent, everyone slept.

Except three men.

Ace and Taranis clearly had things they were trying to mentally deal with so Eyeball silently chose to remain sober.

Unfortunately for him, he had to watch two alpha males get more and more drunk as they both wanted to drown out their thoughts.

"So I just think-" Ace started as they attempted to stumble down the street back to drop Taranis off home. "I just think he needs to die?"

Taranis exaggerated a nod as he tried to hobble along himself. "I could totally do it for you?" His slurred words finally came out.

Ace turned to him as he narrowly dodged a lamppost.

"You'd kill him for me?"

Taranis shrugged relaxed as Eyeball quickly stopped him from going straight into a car.

"Never liked the prick." He mumbled as he shrugged Eyeball off slightly.

Ace scoffed and laughed. "You don't like anyone."

Taranis hiccuped and laughed as he nodded. "That's true."

"Is there-" Ace stopped to burp as he continued. "anything you like?"

Taranis burped himself as he let out a massive sigh. "I like cheese?"

Eyeball raised an eyebrow as he walked behind them. It was a real eye-opener being the only sober one.

"I like cheese too." Ace mumbled with a nod.

"Cheese is fucking great!" Taranis exclaimed loudly as he waved his hands about and stumbled closer to Ace.

"It goes on pizza?" Ace offered up as he half nudged Taranis.

"It does! So fucking well!" Taranis slurred out as he nodded in agreement.

"So fucking well!" Ace drunkenly exaggerated his agreement as Taranis slung his arm over Ace's shoulder.

"Cheese?" Eyeball asked himself as his face screwed up in confusion. "That's what you two finally bond over? Mother fucking cheese?"

"I fucking love it on toast bro!" Taranis spoke as he slapped Ace's chest.

"Dude!" Ace managed to blurt out. "So does your sister!"
