Chapter 18 - Hit or get hit
*****

No-one in Genevieve's workforce had heard from Ace in a week.

Yet what they did see was Isolabella becoming colder and colder.

They saw her take her anger out on anyone and everyone that got in her way.

It didn't matter who they were or what they did, they were receiving harsh punches or kicks if they got in her way.

It was reaching the point where no-one even dared look at the Princess of crime.

"Mum said I'd find you out here." Taranis spoke as he walked up to Isolabella in the garden, where she was still throwing knives at her target.

Though the pictures had so many holes in, they were unrecognisable.

"Fuck off Taranis." She snapped as she huffed out a breathe, quickly moving the hair from her face.

"Easy love, it's just me." He spoke calmer as he reached her.

She huffed again as she looked up at him. "I guess I'm a little angry still."

Taranis coughed out a laugh. "A little? Baby sister you're giving me a run for my money with having anger issues."

Isolabella shrugged slightly as she looked down. Gently he pulled her into him as he wrapped his arms around her.

Her arms went around his waist as he gently squeezed her, rocking her tight.

"You gotta move on Bells." He mumbled as he lightly kissed the top of her head.

Isolabella shrugged in his arms. "How can I? I have no idea where Ace is and I kinda wish I'd killed him for what he did to Digger."

"You don't mean that."

"I do."

Taranis shook his head on top of hers. "You're still battling with all them emotions Bells."

She only shrugged slightly.

"Look, been meaning to ask," he started as he kept his hold on her. "You been in mum's office?"

Isolabella shook her head. "No she won't let me inside."

Taranis nodded slowly. "That's what I thought." He mumbled. "You don't know what she'd hiding do you?"
