Chapter 10 - Drink ma'am?
*****

Digger was, of course, still outside Isolabella's room when she left hand in hand with Ace.

"Stai bene?" Are you okay? Digger instantly fired out, knowing Ace clearly wouldn't understand English.

Isolabella nodded. "Abbiamo sistemato tutto." We sorted everything.

Ace looked between them blankly. "Forgot you spoke Italian." He mumbled.

"Hai bisogno che lo colpisca?" Need me to hit him? Digger asked her seriously.

Isolabella laughed and shook her head as she turned to Ace, placing a hand on his cheek.

"Lascialo a me." Leave that to me.

"Okay this is fucking weird now." Ace looked between the two of them.

"Sicuro di non voler uscuire con qualcuno più intelligente?" Sure you don't want to date someone smarter? Digger suggested as he gestured to himself with a laugh.

Isolabella laughed and shook her head. "Non costringermi a liberarlo." Don't make me set him loose.

"Wanna tell me if you're planning my murder?!" Ace looked between the two of them more confused.

"Sono." I am. Digger mumbled, receiving a quick smack from Isolabella.

The pair allowed her to walk down the stairs first as Bones met her at the bottom.

"Your mother has just popped into her office. I suggest you follow."

Isolabella looked between the three guys as she nodded slowly. Yet just as she reached the door, she quickly turned back to Bones.

"Assicurati che non si uccidano a vicenda." Make sure they don't kill each other. She pleaded at him.

Digger groaned as he waved his hands about annoyed. Bones smiled at her as he nodded. She gave them one final smile as she turned and went inside her mother's office.

"Oh sweetheart there you are!" Her mother turned and beamed to see Isolabella walk in.

"Bones said you wanted to see me?" She asked quietly as her mother looked up from her desk and nodded quickly.

"Yes yes! Yes I did." She mumbled as she picked up a small black clutch bag and walked around to her daughter.

"This, my darling, is for you." She gave her a soft smile as she gently held it out to her.
