Chapter 11 - Her first
*****Ace had seen Isolabella do many cold things.
He had seen her threaten him.
He had heard of her knocking Vince out with a kick.
He had seen her blow up a police station.
He had seen her knock her own brother out.
He had even seen her threaten a helpless baby.
Though the one thing he thought he'd never see, would be for her to actually pull the trigger.
Yet there she was.
Standing, gun in hand as the smoke slowly dispersed from the barrel.
Mr Kensington's body slumped over the table as the blood poured from the gunshot in his forehead.
He thought he was about to pass out as he saw Genevieve and Bones shower her with love and congratulations.
Her first kill.
"Oh my darling!" Genevieve exclaimed, "I'm so proud of you!"
Ace watched as Isolabella almost seemed in shock, but nodded slowly as her mother kissed her over and over.
"Still reckon you're the scarier one out of you two?" Digger asked him quietly as he watched Isolabella lean into Bones as he softly kissed the top of her head.
Ace could only shake his head slowly in response.
"Digger darling!" Genevieve waved her hand at him. "Get the champagne please!"
Digger gave her a small nod as he slowly left the room. Isolabella was finally released as she almost hobbled over to Ace.
Her arms automatically wrapped around his neck as she pulled him in close. His wrapped around her waist as he gripped her tightly.
"Oh I spy a future King and Queen!" Genevieve clapped her hands as she beamed at Isolabella clinging to Ace.
Ace gave her and Bones a small smile as they beamed like the proud parents one of them was.
"Ace..." Isolabella whispered into his ear as her chin rested on his shoulder. "I shot him."
Ace's hands gently rubbed up and down her back. "I know." He whispered back.
