Chapter 29 - Thursday
*****"Phone call for you Miss Cunningham."
Isolabella sighed as she sat at her vanity table, finishing getting herself ready.
Ace had already gone out with Eyeball and the cobras, believing he owed them a day of drinking and pool to make up for everything.
"Coming!" She shouted back as she stood up and walked out.
It didn't take her long to get downstairs and to the phone as she held it up to her ear, already having a good idea as to who it was.
"Can I help you?" She snapped instantly.
"Yeah you can actually."
Isolabella rolled her eyes, of course she was right.
"Yeah sweetheart," she started sarcastically. "I told you before, you ain't getting MY King back."
Irina laughed. "Wanna bet?"
"I don't think you've got the firepower to even take down my front door, let alone get to me."
"Even with your brother on my side?"
Isolabella's face changed. "The hell do you mean?"
"I mean what I say." Irina taunted back. "I suggest you let him come back now."
Isolabella sighed. "Yeah I haven't got the time for you right now."
Before Irina could say anything else, Isolabella slammed the phone down and began to walk away, just as Genevieve and Bones left her office.
"Oh darling, I need to-"
"Not now mother." Isolabella waved her hand dismissively as she walked straight past and through into the kitchen.
Genevieve watched her in shock as Bones couldn't help but laugh.
"Did my daughter just 'not now' me?" Genevieve asked as Bones nodded.
"I believe she is becoming more like you every day."
"Is that a good or bad thing?" Genevieve asked him curiously.
Bones simply smiled down at her. "It means the best thing, she's going to do a fine job with your empire."
