Chapter 25 - With pleasure ma'am
*****Isolabella and Digger barely spoke a word to each other, they didn't need too.
Yet she still pulled him in the shower with her as she let him wash her hair as she returned the favour.
Her hands gently slid up his arms and onto his face as the pair stood under the water pouring down on top of them. His hands gently rested on her waist as his thumb brushed circles on her sides.
He let his head hang forward as it pressed against her forehead, neither wanted to leave the shower but they knew they had to.
Isolabella slipped her silk dressing gown on as Digger changed into shirt and trousers before the pair slowly headed back downstairs.
Their hands permanently brushing past the others as they walked down. Yet as they reached her mother's office, Isolabella found herself quickly tugging at his hand.
Digger gave her a small comforting smile as he entwined their fingers and gently pulled her in after him.
The room was divided.
Genevieve sat on one sofa, Bones sat by her side. The cobras all stood behind her with a couple more of her men stood beside them.
Thomas sat on the other sofa, T-Bone sat by his side. Taranis stood directly behind his father as Ace stood by his side, Irina still holding onto his hand and arm.
Both parents looked up at Isolabella as she entered. Yet her loyalty caused her to walk to sit beside her mother, as Digger sat on the arm of the sofa by her side, his hand still comfortable holding hers, eyes still firmly locked with Ace's.
"Right!" Thomas started as he leant back slightly. "Now we're all here, I don't suppose you want to start by telling me why I was told my daughter is dead, when she's clearly alive?" He gestured to Isolabella.
"Technically I didn't tell you she was dead." Bones spoke firmly. "Only that her mother was planning a funeral."
"We told Taranis she was dead as we suspected him of being the rat." Genevieve added harshly as she remained staring at her ex-husband, still unable to look her own son in his eyes.
"So you told him and knew if it got back to me then your suspicions would be correct?" Thomas asked with a nod, though everyone knew it was a rhetorical question.
Genevieve and Bones nodded irregardless.
"Turns out, we were correct." Genevieve mumbled, still struggling to even look at Taranis so choosing to look down at her own lap, before back up at Thomas.
