~ i yawn as i enter the place my friends and i are staying at only to find them both sitting on the couch, staring at me.
"you two are creeping me out," i say as i toss my purse on a nearby chair.
they are both dressed to go out, maddy more fancier than lily but still.
"where have you been, missy?" mads asks me as she crosses her arms and narrows her eyes.
"i took austin to the eiffel tower," i tell her "nothing super serious. it just took longer than i thought."
"goodnight kiss?"
"no," i grimace "we're. just. friends."
she giggles, "i know i just like getting under your skin, silly girl."
"well i'm upset," lily says from the couch, "we're supposed to be going out and here you are, late."
i hold my hands up in defense "i'll get ready speedy fast, pinky promise."
"well i'm going now, harry is waiting."
"is that the black mercedes i saw parked outside?" i ask.
she nods, "yup that's him. see you later lil," she leaves me with a kiss on the cheek before rushing out.
lily looks at my scoldingly "get ready. now."
"i'm going. damn, sorry mom."
