austin and lillian walk the red carpet together at the premiere of elvis. the paparazzi shout their names, and austin can't help but feel a sense of pride as he holds lillian's hand tightly.
"lillian, can you believe we're here?" austin says, looking around at the sea of familiar faces.
"i know, it's incredible," lillian replies, smiling up at him.
as they make their way into the theater, they are greeted by baz luhrmann. "congratulations, austin! you were incredible," baz says, shaking austin's hand.
"thanks so much, baz. i couldn't have done it without your guidance," austin replies, feeling a sense of gratitude wash over him.
lily-rose, is also there, looking stunning in a black dress. "hey, lillian!" lily-rose says, giving her a hug. "you look gorgeous!"
"thanks, lily-rose! you look amazing too," lillian replies, laughing.
maddy, is there too, and they hug and congratulate each other on the success of the film.
as they take their seats, austin can't help but feel grateful for the people who have helped him get to this point. "i'm so grateful for your support, lillian. i couldn't have done this without you," he whispers, squeezing her hand tightly.
"i'm so proud of you, austin. you deserve all of this success," lillian replies, smiling at him.
as the lights dim and the film begins to play, austin feels a sense of excitement and anticipation wash over him. he knows that this is just the beginning of an incredible journey, and he is grateful to be sharing it with the people he loves most.
when the film ends and the lights come up, the audience erupts into applause. austin and lillian stand up and take a bow, smiling at each other with a sense of pride and joy that cannot be contained.
as austin walks up to the stage, his heart beats fast. as he steps up to the podium, he looks out at the audience, taking in the applause. and then he turns to lillian, who is sitting in the front row, and gives her a smile.
"lillian," he says, his voice ringing out over the audience. "i don't know where to begin. you have been my rock throughout this entire process. when i am learning how to play guitar, you are there to listen to me play the same song over and over again. when i am practicing my dance moves, you are there to give me encouragement. and when i am feeling down, you are there to lift me up."
he pauses, taking a deep breath. "lillian, i want you to know that i admire you more than anyone else in this world. you are the most beautiful, kind-hearted, and intelligent person i have ever met. you make me a better person every day, and i am so grateful for that. i want to spend the rest of my life making you happy, because you deserve nothing but the best."
the audience is silent, listening intently to austin's words. and then he continues, "i am so grateful for the unwavering support that i've received from everyone while portraying and embodying elvis. i want to thank my sister, baz, and most importantly lillian. the best thing that has come out of this film, is me meeting you. i love you more than anything in this world. you are my soulmate, my best friend, and my everything. i cannot imagine my life without you, and i don't want to. so, in front of everyone here, i want to say that i cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you. i love you."
the audience erupts into applause as austin steps away from the podium, his heart filled with joy. and as he makes his way back to his seat, he reaches out to take lillian's hand, squeezing it tightly. he knows that he has just spoken the truth, and he is so glad that everyone has heard it. lillian is the love of his life, and he wants the world to know it.
next is lillian's turn. "playing priscilla presley was a dream come true. i grew up listening to elvis and watching his movies. and i would never have imagined actually being able to be in a biopic of his," she says and looks for austin in the crowd. "austin," she begins, looking out at the audience. "i am so proud of you. watching you bring elvis presley to life on the big screen is an experience like no other. you poured your heart and soul into this role, and it shows in every single scene."
she takes a deep breath, feeling the emotion build inside her. "but it's not just your talent that i'm proud of. it's your dedication, your hard work, and your unwavering spirit. you never give up, even when things get tough. you keep pushing yourself to be better, to do more, and to give your all. and that's what makes you so special." the audience is silent, listening intently to lillian's words. "thank you all for attending here tonight."
as they make their way out of the theater, they are greeted by even more familiar faces, all congratulating them on the success of the film. "congratulations, austin! you were amazing!" one person says, shaking his hand.
"thanks so much. it means the world to me," austin replies, feeling overwhelmed with gratitude.
