"sunscreen," lily-rose says as she tosses it to me. "tanning lotion."

i catch the tanning lotion just as i put the sunscreen into the bag. "okay and in the cooler we have..."

"sushi, fruit, noodles, and soda," she lists off.

"water?"

"water," she repeats "i'll go grab some."

"okay," i nod and continue packing up our beach bag full of stuff we need. such as towels, chapstick, a change of clothes, and a blanket for us to sit on.

just then, while lily-rose is out getting water, there's a knock on the front door.

since i'm at the coach, i'm close enough to just shout to them. "who is it?"

"hey, it's austin," the person on the other side says.

"oh! come in, come in."

second later, austin enters the living room wearing black swim trunks and a black t shirt. "hey," he grins.

"hello," i reply with a cheery voice. "lily and i are almost done, just need a few more minutes."

as if on cue, lily-rose returns with a bag full of waters "oh, hey austin."

"hey."

she walks towards the blue cooler and gestures toward the couch "make yourself at home, we'll be ready soon."

austin nods and sits down on the couch next to the bag i'm filling up "need any help?" he asks me.

i shake my head, "nope, but thanks for asking."

"what beach are we going to again?" lily-rose asks.

"same one austin and i went to last time," i respond.

"called?"

"les cerfs-volants de dieppe," austin tells her. "have you heard of it?"

"yeah i've been there before. it's beautiful."

"okay! i'm ready," i look at lily-rose "you done?"

"yup, mhm. let's go."
