"ready for lunch?" i ask lily-rose as i readjust my shirt for the third time.

"i'm starving," she replies.

"well we would've left already if it weren't for maddy."

maddy peaks around the corner, a sarcastic look on her face "i have other needs that need to be met besides eating."

lily-rose and i give her annoyed looks, "if you take any longer lily-rose will pass out from hunger."

maddy rolls her eyes, pulling her head away from the corner "i'm almost done."

lily looks at me as i begin searching through the nightstand drawers of the rental we're in. "what's she even doing anyway?"

"taking nudes for harry," i reply, sifting through the drawers "he's on some retreat right now or something."

"hmm," she quirks a brow at me as she plops on the bed before asking, "lili, what are you looking for?"

"my ring," i stress as i slam the drawer closed and open another one. "my promise ring. i can't find it."

"well where's the last place you put it?"

"i never take it off. i went to bed with it on last night but when i woke up this morning, boom. gone."

lily stands up and starts to search around the bed for it "it could've slipped off last night. don't worry, we'll find it."

i nod, "yeah. i'm gonna go find austin and ask him if he's seen it."

with that, i quickly leave the room and search around the condo for austin. "austin? helloo?"

he turns the corner just as i'm about the enter the hallway "hey. where were you?" i ask with furrowed brows.

"sorry, i was taking a call," he replies as he rubs my arm comfortingly "why, what's up?"

"i can't find my promise ring," i tell him "did you happen to see it in the bed last night or this morning?"

he furrows his brows before shaking his head "no, baby, i'm sorry. i didn't see it. but if you lost in the bedroom then we'll find it eventually. i promise."

i nod, trying to reassure myself that i will find my ring. i'm just surprised that austin isn't as concerned. "i'm gonna go see if maddy is ready, we'll leave soon."

he nods "okay."

finally, mads got done sexting her husband so we're finally going out for a late lunch.

it's a cloudy day today and i can already see the paparazzi forming around us so i know it just won't be peaceful day today.
