POV: Sofia
I woke up and took two Advil them went along with my day. It's Saturday so I have too much free time. I'm downstairs with my mom when an idea pops into my head. I can hang out with Eliot! Wait, no. It'll be awkward. It'll be fine. No no no. Ugh. My mind was pacing around but that all came crashing down when I sighed.

"What's wrong hun?" I heard. I felt my moms hand on my shoulder. She sat next to me on the island. "Would you support me in anything mom?" I asked not looking at her. "What did you do?" She chuckle raising a brow. "It's not what I did, but what I want to do." I sighed. She rubbed my shoulder as worry flushed over her face. "Honey, you can tell me anything. You know I'll love you no matter what." She moves my shin so I'm looking at her. "I like someone." Tears threatening to fall. "Ok?" She says calmly. "A- a- a..." I sigh. "You don't have to tell me right now. Tell me about them first huh?" A small smile grows on my face. "Well, I like them. They're super sweet. And care about me. But I don't know if they like me. They have curly hair, and they always look good. No matter what we've been doing. Sh- they always make sure I'm ok before making they're they're okay. I've really grown to like them but...I'm worried." I can't help but smile when talking about her.

My mom licks her lips before talking. "Well whoever they are, they sound like an amazing match for my daughter." She puts her hand on my cheek. "And you should ask them out. If they say no then they're stupid. But from what you're saying, it sounds like they like you too!" She smiles at me. "Thanks mom." I smile back.

The door opens and I sit straight. "Oh honey hi I-" my mom walks over to my dad. They say their "Hi"s and he walks over to me. "Hey hon. So how was the party?" My dad has always been into me partying. He say it's a great opportunity to find a good boy. I think it's a great opportunity to find bad boys but, to each there own. "Good good. I had fun." "Meet any boys?" He asked with a smile. "No- well, I did meet someone." A smile crept on my face again. My mom looked over and smiled at me. I think she knows, and she's fine with it. It makes me feel better. "Well I'd like to meet him soon." My dad says he with a stern tone. My mom just sighs and my dad questions her but she makes him drop it.

I texted Eliot to hand out and she said I could go over to her house. I'm planing on walking so I change into a nice outfit since it's hot and leave. My asks if I'm going to a boys house and tries to make me listen to him but I leave before he can continue. I get to her Josie and knock. Andrew answers. "Oh hey my sister upstairs." He leads me to her room and leaves. "Hey" I say entering and closing the door. She looks up and smiles. "Hey".

We've been taking and just doing random stuff. Stuff you do when you hang out with a friend. Her brother came in and we've all been talking. This is nice. I wish it could stay like this forever, but it can't. Soon her dad calls us down for dinner.

When go down it's like a five start meal was cooked. A quiet "wowww" leaves my mouth. Eliot looks at me and smiles which makes my face go red. The food is great and after just me and Eliot head to her room, Andrew stays with their dad.

We lay on her bed and face each other. Our faces are just inches apart. I want to kiss her so bad. My eyes slowly make their way form her eye to her nose then her lips. They snap when's he speaks. "So why we're you so eager to talk to me?" She smirks. "Well you said you'd tell me." I look her straight in the eye. "Yeah" she sighs. "Well he was being a jerk." My eyebrows furrowed at that. "How?" "I walked through a hallway to find him making out with a girl. Like making out. I was about to walk away when he called me back. He did sorry which confused me. So I asked him why. He basically confessed his love for me and I said no, for what I thought were obvious reasons. I said he could turn me straight. And I said 'even if I was at straight I would never date a bigot.'" Saying all this relaxed her so much, and it looked like a weight was lifted off her shoulders. She looked away and sighed. "Sorry." "No I asked." I said smiling.

She looked back at me and smiled back. I followed her eyes as they went down my face, inspecting it like she's never see it again. I could see her looking at my lips and she did she licked her own. Her eyes snapped back to mine. "Can I ask you something?" My eye widened at this. I swallowed my worries and said "Yeah." smiling. "Can I kiss you?" Her eyes darted form my lips to my eyes. As she said this smile grew on my face. "Yes!" I said eagerly. She leaned towards me and our lips connected.

Hahahahahahahah. YOU THOUGHT. Cliff. Hanger. Yeahya. 🧗🏻. I was so grinning the whole time writing this btw. So excited to upload this. My Spotify stopped working halfway through tho. Does that happen to anyone else without premium, or even with. Like randomly it won't let me listen when I'm not on the app.
