POV: Sofia
After watching a couple movies, ranging from funny action to Disney animation, Eliot fell asleep. She was laying on my chest and I was playing with her hair. Everything we did together just felt natural, like we'd been doing this for years. At my eyes felt heavy I let them fall.

What felt like one minute later- probably because I was sleeping- I awoke to my door being opened. I didn't move, but I was listening. From where my eyes could see the door was slightly ajar, and I could see faint light from the hallway flooding in. I looked at who was peeking in- careful not to look in whoever's eyes was looking. I saw...my dad?

Why was my dad checking in on us? In the middle of the night? I kept my eyes open but only just enough to see somewhat through my eyelashes. Though things were blurt, I could see him look us up and down, and I didn't need eyes to hear him make a "tsk" sound and sigh. He looked almost- disappointed. His disappointment quickly turned into anger as he turned with a swish and closed my door. The light glided away and again it was dark.

I didn't fall asleep again quickly. I was thinking about my dad. What was wrong? What did I do? Did Eliot do something? Though my brain was sloshing around with worrisome thoughts, they were all dried up when Eliot squeezed me and mumbled something about going back to sleep. I sighed and told my self I'd ask tomorrow. I just want to sleep now. So goodbye and goodnight worries, and hello nice dreams.
