"Baaaah!" The goat didn't stop bleating. I sprinted across to the house and yelled out to Mum and Dad. We all ran across and that's when I got my head around what was happening.
One of the goats was giving birth to a kid (baby goat) about a fifty days early. This wasn't good because with very premature births it is not 100% that the kid will survive.
I rang Lenny and told him what was going on. He and his dad came over and they helped out. Their family has had the most experience out of all of us because they have a goat farm.

"Just keep pushing on the stomach." Scott (Lenny's dad) instructed us. "This will help the goat and make it easier for the kid to come out."
After twenty minutes of sweat, hard work and struggle we finally got the baby goat out.
I didn't realise at first but when it was finally born I had tears streaming down my face. It was so beautiful.

"We are very lucky because I think this little goat will survive." Scott said

"Let's name her Totti!" I said after thinking for a minute.

"Totti it is then." Said Mum.

Exactly an hour later Lenny and I walked into school with big smiles on our faces. We went to sign late at Student Admin and where it said reason we had some funny thoughts of what to right. In the end we left the office after getting confused looks from the office lady after we wrote "Totti".
It was recess when we got to school so we had twenty five minutes to explain to a very curious Milly and her friend Abby. Abby is really nice, she kept asking if I was okay from the cross country race and she was very caring. Now it is sort of the four of us at recess and lunch.
Abby, Annica, Lenny and Milly :)

Period 3 I had Biology and I sat with Abby, she was in my class. The time flew by, and after daydreaming about goats I got in trouble a couple of times!
In Period 4 we had an assembly. First of all we started by singing the National Anthem which I sang extra loud because I was very happy. Then their was sport awards. I was so surprised when they called me up to the stage. Addressing me as a champion and a very brave young girl.
Telling the school about the Cross Country race and then my accident. I was a bit embarrassed as you would imagine but I felt proud because a few weeks ago I was very sick in hospital and now I am standing here at school feeling just about 100% better.

The rest of the day flew by and I got many students coming up to me, asking if I was better or if I needed help with anything. They were all very nice.
The bell starting ringing and I looked and my watch and was shocked (happy though) to see that is was 3:15pm! Home time!

I sat next to Lenny on the bus and we played iSpy with My Little Eye, Lenny won twice and I was three times. I have always been good at that game.

When I got home I told Mum and Dad about the assembly and they were very surprised yet happy. I had some afternoon tea and then ran over to the goats. There, being licked and comforted by its mother was Totti, looking so cute and beautiful. I slowly went over and bent down, she wasn't scared or nervous so I gently put my hand out and stroked her soft, white fur.
