I still find it weird how Rickys and Nini's relationship just ended, not just as lovers but as friends. They were friends before they were together. Nini even said in S2 E3 how Ricky and Nini go way back and like the kiss was somewhat awkward (Ricky and Gina) because it feels more like a simple crush instead of what he had (has) with Nini, you know? Maybe I'm taking this too far but I swear one day Ricky and Ninj will find each other again because they were each others first kiss. Their names are carved in Nini's treehouse like you can't just break them up like that.

Nini's pov

"Can we talk?"

I froze. Of course I want to hear him out, but I can't let my walls down. He could've talked to me the hundreds of times that I phoned him. I phoned his mom as well. I was just ghosted. It's not fair on me to have to put up with his apology now, three years too late. But I can't just say no can I?

"Fine. What is it?" I said harshly. He started to guide me to an empty part in the hallway away from our friends lockers. I saw everyone glance at me sending concerned looks while I just shrugged my shoulders.

"I just wanted to say...I'm sorry."

I laughed sarcastically. "Ricky, do you hear yourself?"

"I just wanted to apologize for anything I've done"

"Anything you've done? You're acting like you don't even know why I'm mad"

"Because I don't! I'm apologizing so we can put all this behind us and me friends like we use too"

"Ricky, you can't just say sorry for something you don't even know you did"

"Well, what did I do?"

"Are you serious right now?!" I said, basically yelling. A few people walking past looked at me but I couldn't care less.

"You don't have to yell!" Ricky said. He was still gentle but he was also raising his voice.

"Fine well go in here" I said dragging his hand to the janitors closet. (Kind of like the one in Victorious, if y'all have seen the show)

"Now, what did I do?" He asked

"Well, for starters you left without giving any explanation and when I tried to contact you, you wouldn't respond, you wouldn't even message saying a simple 'hi, Nini I'm fine'" I said mimicking his voice

"Nini, that was 3 years ago?"

"So?"

"I thought you would've been over it"

"Over it?!?!" I screamed, walking towards him "do you know what it felt like to cry yourself to sleep because you cared for someone so much and the fact that they left, without ANY explanation? Do you Richard? Or when you spiralled into depression for months drowning in memories you had with that person? Or waking up feeling drained with bloodshot eyes? Thank god I have friends who CARE about me, and wouldn't just leave!" I yelled. Tears streaming down my face at the memories of this horrible time. I just realized how close we were in proximity. We were basically chest to chest. I stumble back, my cheeks flushing red.

"Nini, I-..."

"Save it. I think this conversation is over"

"Please, Nini?"

"I can't do this anymore, Ricky. I've cried enough. Can you please just leave me alone."

"I'll give you space. But I'm not done trying I'll fight for this friendship"

"We don't have one Ricky"

"What are you taking about?" He said raising his voice again "all the years we had together? We've known each other since we were 2! You can't just throw all that away!l

I laughed in his face. "Rich coming from you. You abandoned me for three years and now you're back questioning why I'm throwing away this friendship. You've already chucked it out." There was an awkward silence between us, both of us not knowing what to say

"Bye Ricky" I said while leaving the small room

I immediately started to cry and ran to my locker. I grabbed my things and walked home.
