Anyway, how's everyone day been? I was so freaking tired today and I'm normally not that tired but today I was literally half asleep for the whole day and like everything I was taught in school today just went in one ear and out the other 😂

Nini's pov

"Okay, welcome back my belles and beasts! Today we're just gonna run through the whole play. I know it's only the first session but I wanna get everyone doing something today. There are gonna be hundreds of mistakes but we're doing this so everyone has an idea of the play and how it goes!"

Seriously. That means at least half of my scenes are with Ricky, thanks Miss Jen. I mean I knew it would happen eventually but we're still just pissed at eachother and I didn't want to do a scen with him for at least another week. But I mean what do you expect when you're both the main characters.

Luckily for the first part of the play I didn't have to come in contact with Ricky. 

Right now we're running through the song 'Belle' I had a chemistry book in my hands and walked around the stage with it while everyone was singing. Miss Jen also wandered around commenting and giving advice.

"Nini, I really want you to be lost in that book. I know it's not the most interesting of things but for that play it'll be your script inside your book okay?"

"Yep"

"Okay let's go to the scene with Gaston and Belle again"

We got into places. While we we're doing the scene. I will not lie to you me and EJ almost broke character like 50 times. He was doing the classic Gaston thing and wriggled his eyebrows every two seconds. He's basically my big brother so we always have a good time together. Although Miss Jen also wanted to stay serious she also couldn't help but chuckle at our wonderful acting.

Ricky's pov

I sat on the one of the benches with all my friends (who weren't in the scene). We were basically all watching the scene and laughing as  EJ and Nini interpreted their characters.  "How are things with you and Nini going?" Kourtney whispered. Well it wasn't really a whisper but loud enough that our friend group could hear but not loud enough that everyone else could hear. "It's not really going" I said still facing towards the stage.

"You know you two will eventually have to fix thing at some point." Said Jett.

"You guys are acting like I didn't try, because I did try"

"Just not very well. Look Ricky you two clearly need eachother whether you wanna admit it or not. Also it's basically fate at this point. You guys were separated but the universe brought you back together again"

"Dang, you and all your spiritual theories, Ash" I laughed.

"Ricky, I'm serious, we all are. We're both friends with you and Nini and sometimes it feels like we have to choose, you guys don't even have to be best friends! Just be civil. We just don't want you two to argue every two seconds, and I know you said you'd try, but try harder, you can't just give up on your friendship."

Ironic, I bet she's already given up on that I thought. "Fine. I'll try. But if it doesn't work don't come crying saying it's my fault. She'll probably run off crying to Jack"

"Oh yeah, by the way what's going on between them?" Asked Maddox 

"I'm the last person that would know this. Don't ask me"

"I dunno what's going on but they're growing close, which is the weirdest thing because he's like the biggest player. And Nini's just an angel" said Gina

Before any of us could speak we heard Miss Jen speak. "Okay I'm gonna need everyone that makes an appearance in the scene where Maurice (belles dad) enters the castle, that's mainly Lumiere, Cogswarts, Babette, Mrs Potts, Chip, Madame de la Grande Bouche (the wardrobe) and my crafty backstage people. Maddox honey can you and Natalie do the lights? And Big red and EJ can I have you go over your lines please? Sorry Ricky we'll get to your scenes after this one. Either rehearse your lines quietly by yourself or with Nini or watch" she said. Everyone got in it places and their scene started.

Around 5 minutes through the scen I started going over my line but what Ashlyn said was running through my head. Just try. Be nice. Be civil. Al least talk to her Ricky. I thought. It won't hurt...that much. Right. I started to walk in Nini's direction when I saw her sitting with Jack. Ugh, what js he even doing here? It's really depressing. He CANNOT do theatre and clearly does it because Nini does it and he's dragged in like seven cheerleaders with him. He also keeps on asking Miss Jen if he can be my understudy which is absolutely ridiculous. "Hey Nini" I said cautiously and slowly.

"What is it Bowen?"

"Miss Jen said we could work on our lines together"

"Could or should?"

"Well she said could but wouldn't it be a good idea if we practiced together?"

"I don't think she wants to rehearse with you as she's already with me" said Jack very harshly. Bro where did you come from and like why. Just buzz off.

I scoffed silently. "Sorry, Ricky. I'm good by myself" she said, it was ever so slightly cold but she did have a bit of empathy in her voice. I think.

I went back down next to EJ and Red and helped them go through their scenes.

Nini's pov 

I watched Ricky sit down next to EJ and Big Red. I couldn't hel but feel ever so slightly bad for him, y'know. Jack just laughed.

"What's so funny?"

"He basically came and asked you and you just rejected him. That was a hilarious. Up top" he laughed offering a high five.

"I gently brushed my hand against his and that was it. "Technically you rejected him" I muttered under my breath. I continued to do lines by myself. Not gonna lie it would've been nice to do it with Ricky, but we're not in speaking terms and he'll probably just be a jerk.

When the scenes ended we all clapped. "Well done you guys!" I yelled. They smiled at me and went to sit down with EJ, Red and Ricky. 

"Please don't clap so loud next time."

"What do you mean?"

"It's embarrassing you know they're theatre dorks and it's nit cool to do stuff like that"

"Oh. They're my friends though."

"I can get you new friends no problem"

I was about to respond when Miss Jen said while flipping through her script.

"Belle, Beast. You two are up"

Here goes nothing.
