TWO WEEKS AFTER LAST CHAPTER

3rd person

"Are you sure Miss Jen?"

"Yes a hundred percent. I've been fantasizing about this ever since I saw it when I was younger. In nineteen eighty- you know what, let's not express how old I am. Anyways trust me. I've also asked Mr Mazzara to say it on the morning news. Run off, you'll be late to first period.

"Thank you Miss Jen"

"No problem".

Everyone sat in their classrooms for the morning, then the TV came in with the good morning news. Normally it's boring and stuff about the debating team and Robotics. But Carlos was especially excited and eagerly watched the screen. "What's got you all excited?"asked Ej with Gina behind him.

"Shh, Caswell I'm watching, you should be too"

"Okay...?" EJ decided to watch because he was curious, soon enough Mr Mazzara's voice was heard.

"Good morning students. I am happy to announce that the Robotics  team will be competing again North high on Sunday, if any members aren't able to make it please come find me at Lunch. Also football is cancelled today as Coach is off sick and finally, to all our 'Wildcats' Miss Jen's new production of Beauty and the Beast will be holding auditions today after school. Can't wait to see what Miss Jen has planned now. That seems to be all for now. Have a good day" the TV then turned off and all the theatre kids faces immediately lit up. Carlos was quietly shrieking in joy.

Nini's pov 

I heard that there was beauty and the best being put on and when I tell you I was literally freaking out. I played a fork in beauty and the beast when I was 13. I'm DEFINITELY auditioning and who knows maybe I'll play more than a fork. I was pondering in my thoughts when in heard a voice "you deep in thought today?" It was Jake who just ran in and sat down next to me. He's been really nice to me lately. I don't know what's changed but we've become good friends. "You okay?"

"Yeah, just thinking about the musical"

"You're auditioning?"

"A hundred percent. I love theatre!"

"Oh...cool"

"What's wrong?"

 "Nothing, I'm just disappointed that I can't share your excitement because I'm not really a theatre person"

"You can be. Miss Jen always loves welcoming newbies. You should come. Plus I'll be there and so will al my friends."

"That's a good idea and especially because football's cancelled today I can make it to the audition."

"That's great! I'll see you there then?"

"Yup, bye Nini"

"See ya later Jake."

Ricky's pov 

Over the past two weeks me and Nini have somewhat grown into a routine, we don't really speak to eachother voluntarily but at lunch we always throw snarky comments or remarks at the other. Or we just ignore eachother completely. Also this Jake dude has really been getting in my nerves. He's not really doing anything necessarily wrong it's just pissing me off. He's ALWAYS around Nini and starts sitting with us at kick and they're always in their own little world. I asked Big Red to ask Ashlyn to ask Nini about Jake at their little sleepover thing and Big red said to me that they're nothing going on. Well at least for now, he's bound to ask her out. He keeps on flirting with her, like ALL the time. And he's a player. Also Nini's too nice to reject him so she'd say yes. Even though Nini and I aren't  on good terms and  I don't really like at all recently I don't want her to be played. 

Im excited fit this Beauty and the Beast thing though. I've always ,over theatre and I have t really done anything terribly productive this semester and theatre's always perfect. I don't know but I'm feeling pretty bold so I might audition for the beast. I feel like I could tsk on the challenge. It seems exciting and playing someone you're not is just distracting you from everything else into the world, it's great.

Nini's pov

I walked into the familiar iconic stage. We were all given numbers it wear on our clothes. Jake came with me and found some football player who followed his girlfriend knit theatre so they were talking. I wandered over to see Kourtney doing Gina's makeup and Ashlyn and  addicted a round them. "Nini!" Maddox yelled. "Over here!"

"Hi guys!"

"Hey Nini! What part are you auditioning for?" Ashlyn asked me

"I'm thinking maybe Belle but it's very unlikely that I'll actually get the part."

"You're literally one of the most talented people here!"

"Thanks Kourt, who are you gonna try to get, Gi?"

"I was thinking belle but I don't know. I was taking to Miss Jen around 20 minutes ago and she said that they're adding a feather dusting thing in 'Be our Guest' and I don't k kw if I want a massive part so I might try for Babette"

"That sounds cool. You'd totally rock that feather dusting spectacle!"

"Thanks guys"

We went around asking people who they wanted to be. Kourtney said Mrs Potts which would suit her amazingly. Ashlyn was like Gina and said that she was also focussing in songwriting for the show as well and might have a smaller on stage role. She was thinking one of the main Chandeliers. Maddox was saying how she was g on a work backstage but might be like one of the village people and a fork or something. 

"Everyone please come away from Backstage, we need everyone in the front." We heard Miss Jen say. There was a joyfully nervous shriek that went around the room. We all started walking to the stage when I realized that Ricky was here too. Are you serious, I swear everything I does he does. Like c'mon find something original.

We all gathered in the floor, as Miss Jen said "let the auditions for Beauty and the Beast commence!" There was an eruption of applause and the first person was called up.
