Beauty and the Beast was coming along well. There was 2 weeks until opening night. Ricky and Nini were still awkward as hell but they ignored it and sucked it up for the performance. Nini was about to hop into her car when a silver sports car pulled up in front of her. The window rolled down as Nini didn't expect who would be there. Lily

Lily's pov

I drove up to Nini's house. I knew what happened. It's pretty obvious what happened between the two of them and if I'm being honest I'm jealous. I know that I'm supposed to like Jake and whatever but by fake dating someone I'm still technically dating someone and I just grew feelings for Ricky. I called him when I woke up and decided to tell him and he just hung up on me after calling me a liar. And honestly I don't blame him. I'm a fucking jerk, I know I am. So today I'm going to try and make amends and later on today I have a plan. "Hey Nini" I called out to her

"Hi..?"

"How are you?"

"Good?"

"Do you want a ride?"

"I-I mean I was going to drive myself-"

"Please"

She sighed "Sure"

"Yay!" I clapped my hands together slightly. She walked around and got in. I started to drive the car and it was awkward to say the least. The only noise there was was the radio playing faintly in the background. I decided that it was finally time to be the bigger person. "I'm sorry, Nini"

"What?"

"I'm sorry...for all the shit I've caused you"

"What have you do-"

"Not just recently. In general. I was and probably still am a bad person. Especially to you. I bullied you in elementary and I was just not a nice person. I swear I'm trying to make amends and apologize to people. You being the first one"

She took a few seconds to process what I said before answering. "Thank you, Lily. Genuinely. It means a lot and thanks for apologizing"

"The least I could do" I smiled. We continued to talk and form a small friendship when we pulled into the school's parking lot. We were about to get out when I asked her the question I've been dying to ask. "Hey Nini. Do you like Ricky"

The second the words left my mouth her whole body tensed up. "Wh-why would you uhm ask that?"

"Just a thought"

"Oh"

"We'll do you"

"N-no."

That was all I needed.

Nini's pov

Someone please kill me. Lunch is in 1 minute and Mr Mazzara's lecture is slowly destroying me. Today was going okay. Lily apologized to me and I guess we're friends now. She did asked if I liked Ricky, which was a bit weird but then again they're dating so I get why she would be cautious.
