Holy shit. I'm the beast, I knew I wanted to get the part but I only thought there would be the smallest tiniest microscopic chance that I would get it. And what a coincidence that Nini's Belle. Come on. I would've preferred ANYONE else. I spoke to the boys yesterday on a Group FaceTime call and they said it was a great thing and that me and Nini would be able to heal our friendship but honestly I'm done with Nini. And don't say 'Ricky, you didn't try' because I did. But guess what. SHE didn't listen to me so it's her fault. Either way I'm excited and grateful to be playing her beast and today is the day that rehearsals start.
Nini's pov
I'm Belle!!! Oh my god! I didn't think they'd even consider me let alone choose me to be the LEAD. the only part of hesitation I have it with the Beast, he's too beastly. He's Richard Bowen. Of all people why him? Like first of all theatre's MY thing, it's my safe space where I can just be free but no Ricky had to come in and steal it. But I won't let irrelevant inconveniences trouble my mind. I have a part to play.
But first I had to get through the school day
I had some tolerable classes today and now it was lunch, I'm just waiting patiently till the end of the day so I can rush to theatre.
I sat down on the table with Jett, Maddox, Kourtney, Ashlyn, Seb and EJ. The others were just finishing up their classes. "Congrats Nini on the lead" said Jett. He him and Maddox were working backstage and the occasional fork or something. "Thanks" we started to eat while talking about the play. Then Big Red, Gina, Carlos walked in and last followed Ricky. They sat down and Ricky also started talking. I rolled my eyes at him. "It's always so nice and peaceful and then you come in. Can you leave please Bowen?"
"Nini" Kourtney said while slightly glaring at me.
"What, we were all enjoying the quiet and you come in with all your rowdiness like why are you even here?"
"Aww is the princess not getting everything she wants?" Ricky said in a baby voice while fake pouting.
"One of these days Bowen I swear to god"
"You'll do what? Sing a song?"
"Just remember to sleep with one eye open from now on"
"You already told me to do that 2 weeks ago. Not very original." He shook his head disapprovingly.
"Oh, shut up"
"Make me"
"Guys, that's enough for now." Said Ashlyn. I took a deep breath to calm down, while he just smirked silently because he got a reaction out of me.
When the day was over we had theatre and I'm so freaking excited. Hopefully I won't have to interact with the Beast also known as Richard Bowen.
