General pov 

The two teenagers followed amiss Miss Jen unit her cramped office. It was an organized mess they both thought. With a half eaten fruit cup sitting in her desk and around a dozen binders it screamed 'Miss Jen' "okay you two. I wanted to tell you how you guys need to grow...as in your relationship. Belle and the Beast have a connection. You two clearly have it as we saw by your...umm...moment. I'm gonna need you both for some extra rehearsals to work on chemistry.

"Miss Jen I really think that there's no need for all this. I mean isn't there supposed to be a mysterious way about their relationship?" Asked Ricky who was clearly pushing for Miss Jen to drop the whole idea.

"Yes, it is mysterious but there is a lingering feeling between the two. A magnetic connection, your connection is more of the 'can't be in the same room with' type. I mean you guys are going to have to kiss in the play"

"Wha-there-we were never told about that" stuttered Nini.

"It was very much there in the original movie" 

"I'm not kissing Nini" said Ricky.

"Honey I get the nervousness. It's okay, but Nini's not that intimidating"

Nini suddenly burst out laughing, "hahahahaha aww Ricky are you nervous of me? Little ol' me?" She said fake pouting.

Ricky just rolled his eyes. "Yeah, in your dreams Nina"

"Well I'll keep on dreaming then"

"What's that supposed to mean?"

Before Nini could retaliate Miss Jen cut them off. "You're just proving my point the both of you. Learn to work together. You don't have to be in love or best friends just get along and be civil"

Civil

It rung in their ears. They were both told to be civil. Easier said than done. Big red once called them out at lunch when they had one of their bickering discussions. "Be civil you guys!" He yelled.

"What I've done do for the play is when beauty and the beast are dancing to 'tale as old as time' I'm going to add an 'almost kiss'" she said with air quotes. "Right before Belle thinks about her father I'm going to have your lips gently almost touch before Belle pulls away leaving the beast confused. It'll add more dimension to the characters"

"Miss Jen. If you know that we...don't like eachother then respectfully why are you adding in more kisses between us?"

"Oh my gosh, Ricky. I know that you don't want to kiss me and I'm not too thrilled about kissing you either but she JUST explained her point so just be quiet!" 

"Okay, we're done here!" Called Miss Jen. Who was actually incapable of being in the room with the two any longer. The teenagers stood up and briefly muttered a small "thanks" before leaving her office.

Nini's pov

That was actually hell. It was literally only 5 minutes but it was absolute torture. Can he just keep his big mouth closed for two seconds!? No. He cannot. "See ya later Nina"

"Bye Bowen" I rolled my eyes. But to my surprise standing by my locker was Jake. "Hi?"

"Oh, hey Nini. I was waiting for you to finish with Miss Jen"

"Aww, that's sweet, should we go now or..?"

"No I wanna take you to see my place."

"Umm. Okay I guess. Just let me text my moms so they know I'll be a little late"

"Cool. Now come on"

We left East High and he took me in his car and we drove off

Also btw I'm turning 13 in 12 days and my mom asked me where I wanted to go and I said Build-a-Bear because I'm internally 5.
