Nini's pov
I walked out of the Bowen household and started on my walk back home. The walk wasn't terribly long thank god because well I'm lazy and couldn't be asked to walk a lot. Just then my phone started to ring and it was a call from the girls group chat so I picked up. "Hey! Neeners, you're here!" Kourtney said.
"Please settle this" asked Ashlyn.
"Settle what?"
"Gina says that candy corn sucks when candy corn it the absolute best!" Continued Maddox.
I laughed. I'm friends with such wack people. "Candy corn yay, obviously. Gina what is going through your head?"
"It gets stuck in my teeth and it's too sweet"
"That's the point!" Called Maddox over the screen. We all chuckled at how infuriated she was over candy corn.
"Anyway, enough sidetracking. What happened to you yesterday, Neeners? You didn't pick up your phone and you're walking somewhere." Kourtney asked, ignoring the other bickering girls.
I sighed, this might take a while. "Well. Funny you should ask that. Basically Jake asked me to be his girlfriend. I rushed home in the rain but I couldn't Ricky came picked me up, spent the night at his and now I'm going back home" I rushed barely taking a breath.
"What?!" They all yelled.
"Hold on"
"What did you just say?"
"You and Jake?"
"Screw her and Jake, you and Ricky?!"
"Nini, explain. From the beginning"
"Okay, well Jake asked me to come to his place after school answered so I agreed. We talked for a while and I guess..."
"You made out?"
"He stole your virginity?!"
"God no! He asked me to be his girlfriend and I agreed."
"Oh"
"Nini, you do know what you're getting yourself into, right? You're dating Jake, as in the biggest player in the school"
"I trust him. He hasn't done anything and he's been nothing but sweet to me. Anyways I was walking back home and then the storm hit and it was horrible! I could barely walk and then a car pulled up and it was Ricky! E told me to get in the car and when I tell you for a second I thought he was kidnapping me, but he was taking me home"
"Then why'd you stay the night at his?"
"The storm got so bad that he couldn't drive so we just pulled up to his house."
"Wow, the enemies in the same room together. Is the world ending?" Gina asked sarcastically.
"It wasn't horrible...I mean for the first part. We kinda got along I guess. We watched out favourite childhood movie and then we fell asleep together."
"You and Ricky! I thought you just got with Jake?"
"Not like that. We accidentally fell asleep in the couch, nothing happened."
"Hmm"
"Well then in the morning we got up and we had an argument and he was being a controlling asshole."
"How, I thought you guys were good?"
"He told me that dating Jake was a bad idea and that he would just break my heart which it complete bullshit coming from him. Then Jake called me and I went home"
"Wow..."
"That's a lot"
"Yeah...anyways I'm home so I'll talk to you guys later?"
"Sure"
"Bye Nini!" The called.
"Bye!" I smiled and hung up. Coming to think of it I really had a rollercoaster day. I used the keys to unlock the door to my house and stepped in. I sighed. Home, finally. I went to the kitchen to grab a snack when I saw both my moms waiting for me.
"Where have you been, missy?" Asked Momma C
"I stayed the night at Ricky's."
"Oh, we know"
"Then why'd you ask?"
"We want to know why" pushed Momma D. Here we go.
"I was walking and it was raining so he picked me up and the rain was too heavy so I just stayed at his house. Nothing happened."
"That's not what this picture says" said Momma C fishing out her phone from her pocket and showing me a message from Ricky's dad of me and Ricky together on the couch. Shit. I blushed red and turned away. "Mhmm" said Momma C.
"Oh, and who was that big who came here yesterday and asked where you were? Asked Momma D.
"Who- oh. That was Jake. We're umm well we may or may not be sorta kinda dating."
"You we're going to tell us this when?"
"He asked me yesterday!"
"Okay, now head upstairs. Schools cancelled. But don't you have some drama work to do?"
"Yep"
"Lunch will be in an hour" Momma C said as they both left. Wow, parents can be a lot. The took it pretty well I'm guessing. Jake must've made a good impression when he came yesterday. I went upstairs and started memorizing my lines.
Soon the day finished and I was at some weird kind of peace, me and Ricky still aren't in great terms but hey, that's nit my fault so I don't feel bad about that and Jake cares for me and was looking math for me. Also I have some wacky friends and loving parents, what else could anyone want?

Sorry for not updating yesterday, guys! Hope you like this little chapter of Nini's pov. I have so much fucking homework it's like actually insane 😂
