Chapter 30

I feel like, as of now 'willow' is my fave TS song. I love the way her voice sounds, the melody and every lyric in this is iconic. 'But I come back stronger than a 90's trend' and the chorus in general. But I think my favourite part is the intro. It gives off Shakespeare, running through a forest. Like 'A Midsummers Nights Dream' vibes in general which is why I think it's my favourite.

Today's chapter is kind of like what some of our main people are feeling. Next chapter we'll get into the actual drama.

General pov

The night continued, everyone had fun. Yet 4 people were on edge. 

Nini was because of the situation that occurred to her not long before. The overprotective side of Jake, that she hadn't been aware of. He seemed slightly possessive. She still had hope because she thought that even if it's over the top he still cares for her, which is enough to fool her naïve mind. Her number of boyfriends was few and she had never experienced this sort of relationship before. Let alone with such a popular person, such as Jake. She was slightly scared because of what he did (or does) to girls. He used to be known as the virginity stealer. Nini was also doubting her self worth. She would constantly look around and see girls dancing in lingerie around Jake and she felt like her cartoon like 'Alice' costume wasn't up to Jake's standards. But none the less she chose to ignore the thoughts and continued to have fun with her friends. She was slightly cautious though.

Ricky was in edge because of what had happened as well. Yet he didn't know why. He hadn't really seen Nini yell as much before, especially at Jake because of the fact that they're dating and he thought that Nini's and Jake's relationship didn't seem the healthiest and he let his mind wonder if Nini was safe. He was starting to come to the fact with his feelings. He was pretty sure that he liked Nini. Only slightly. From the moments they shared and Lily and his friends constantly telling him, he came to conclusion that maybe he did like her. But the whole thought was foggy to him. He was in an ocean of confusion and slightly drowning in it. Throughout the night he kept having continuous thoughts about Nini. He wished he could tell EJ or somebody about everything, but him and Lily agreed later that nobody was to know. He continued to dance and have fun whilst ignoring the cluster of thoughts.

Lily was on edge because of the attitude Jake showed toward Nini. She was in the depths of a 'Crush' and desperately wanted Jake. It was a weird thought but she wanted to be Nini. Really badly. She wanted to date Jake and still have people ask her out. She wanted to be seen as the most popular person. She wanted to be seen as Jake's damsel in distress. She wanted to let him feel her. She was jealous of Nini and she was annoyed at the fact as well. She rarely socialized with Nini. She started to second guess the whole fake dating Ricky situation as Ricky wasn't the most popular and she didn't see anything change between her and Jake.

Finally Jake was on edge because of Nini. He hated the fact that Nini wasn't the type of person who would wear lingerie and walk around, popular. That wasn't who Nini was and it pissed Jake off because she wanted to show off Nini, and he did. It's just that people weren't very impressed with Nini. He really likes her but he thought that Nini wasn't worth his downfall. He also saw Ricky staring at her and jealousy would rise in him. Secretly he knew he liked her. He always had. He just had to make sure that Nini doesn't end up liking him. He was thinking of ways to make Nini more popular and another one of his feather headed girls who would swoon over him. But he knew that Nini was smarter than them. There was one way that he could think of that would work. Scaring her. He decided to pull out the 'virginity stealer' act one more time.

He walked towards Nini and sharply grabbed her wrist. She turned around in confusion but before she could question Jake dragged her along.

"Come with me"

Ooof. How are we feeling? Also Ricky like Nini! (Well he's not too sure but we know that he does)
