⬆️ truly underrated
Hey y'all! I'm am so freaking sorry for completely ghosting you guys for 2 weeks (well 13 days but anyway. Oh yeah 13. Taylor's lucky number). Either way I'm back!! I just needed a break because of exams but yeah I'm good now. Also I got 90 percent in my philosophy and ethics exam so that's a yay. And I got 87 percent in scholarship Latin which is also pretty cool.
ALSO, my school ends next Friday! 🥳
But at the end we have a Christmas service and I'm singing the solo. In front of the whole school. And all the parents. I'm so fucked. Yeah so basically my music teacher came up to me and said 'I was a greatly contributor to the school choir' and had a 'wonderful voice' so yeah I have to stand at the back and sing in front if everyone. Wish me luck.
Anyway I shall let you read a much desired chapter.

Nini's pov
I stumbled out of the bathroom in my massive golden dress. When I tell you this is the prettiest dress I have ever placed on my body. The colour was simple stunning and the massive ruffled skirt fell at my feet perfectly and the off the shoulder straps draped along my bare shoulders. I walked towards the vanity backstage where I met Kourtney who's jaw dropped when she saw me. "You look! Aaagh! Nini! It looks SO good"
"Thank you!" Normally I'm quite modest with what I look like and I don't really pay much attention to what I wear but this. I feel really pretty and that just makes me so happy to be able to feel confident in myself again. It sounds cheesy but it's true.
"Okay, let me do your hair and makeup." Kourtney said, gesturing for me to sit down. I sat down in the chair while she fetched her makeup. "I'm so excited for this"
"Me too- wait, Kourt. Aren't you supposed to be on in like 15 minutes"
"Wha- oh shit." She chuckled. I smiled along with her. "Damn it. Okay I'll do your hair now and your makeup when I get back." I nodded in agreement as she lifted the hairbrush to my hair and started to comb through.
10 minutes later my hair was curled. (Don't ask how Kourtney does it so quick I still can't comprehend how she does it.) She put my hair half up half down and wrapped a small gold ribbon around the bun. "Stay here. I'll be on in a sec"
"Sure...good luck!"
"Bye!"
She darted off into the wings before walking in and saying her lines. I also peered on stare and it was the scene where everyone was preparing and grooming the Beast for the dance. I also peered out onto the stage to see Ricky in a bath with fake foam bubbles with everyone surrounding him. "You have to be a gentleman!" Cried Carlos. Meanwhile Jett who was Cogsworth was brushing his curls. Kourtney and Ashlyn were pretending to choose an outfit for Ricky.
"You have to be kind"
"And use your manners"
"And have good posture" they all lectured.
"I can't do all this!" Richter snapped throwing fake bubbles onto the stage in rage.
"It's okay master. Just be yourself" Said Lumiere.
"...just remember those manners," Cogsworth muttered earning a sharp nudge in the ribs form Mrs Potts. I chuckled at the scene (well snorted quietly...actually it was pretty loud) and I think Ricky heard me because he looked in my direction and smiled at me making me blush and obviously smile back. This is just so infuriating because I really do love him, and I never stopped but I'm not sure if he feels the same way. Ugh, feeling are just too complicated!
When Kourtney's scene finished the curtains closed as a sign for the second 3rd being completed. Instead of having a halftime we have 2 break is instead. It just works better with the story because in the first 3rd it's all the introduction and stuff with 'Be Our Guest', the second 3rd (the one we just finished) is about Belle's feelings changing and the surprise with the library and the snowball fight. We now have 15 minutes to prepare for the ballroom dance scene. AKA the most iconic in the whole movie.
Kourtney hung up her massive skirt and came and sat near me grabbing some brushes. Ashlyn and Gina also came and perched themselves around the vanity. "Okay first of all did I see you and Ricky giggling during that scene?" Ashlyn asked me.
"What?! God no" I blushed.
"Bullshit" Gina laughed.
"Anyway...is anyone else excited for the next scene?" Asked Kourtney. We all nodded eagerly.
"We're gonna go practice our lines, see ya later girlies" Gina said. We smiled at them and said goodbye before her and Ashlyn left to go to a quiet place in the wings.
Meanwhile Kourtney stayed and dusted gold onto the eyelids and cheeks. "You look so pretty, Neeners!" She gushed.
"Thank you, I'm gonna get married in this dress I swear...actually no I already decided I'm getting married in the 'Wildest Dreams' dress"
"Oh my gosh, you're too obsessed," she chuckled.
"You can never be too obsessed with Taylor Swift"
"Anyway I think that's you done!" She exclaimed proudly.
"Eek! Can't wait to see what the amazing Kourtney has done today." I said with jazz hands. She laughed and I turned around, stunned by my appearance. "Every time, Kourt!" I got up and hugged her. But found evident struggle to do so as I was wearing the massive skirt.
"Hey, now you know how it feels to not fit through doorways in a massive skirt!" She said.
"Everyone places! The final third is starting and 5 minutes!" Maddox called.
"Aaagh!" We both said facing eachother.
I rushed to the side of the stage on top of fake stairs, calming my nerves. I could hear people around me and people sitting down in the audience but I was just focussing in myself. I opened my eyes and the curtains rose.

There we go, besties! Again I'm really sorry for not updating but I hope to finish this book by the end of this year, we'll see
