"Where are the others?" Tsuna asked the man in a suit on the front of the large double doors after Kyoko and Haru ushered his mom to the bedrooms.
*Bang!
The sudden gunshot made Hitoshi jump back, and curse his life for the 2nd time this night for not bringing his capture scarf.
"Reborn!" Tsuna exclaimed, looking up. "How many times have I already told you to stop sending bullets my way whenever I come home?"
Reborn, clad in his usual iron-pressed suit and fedora, landed softly right in front of Tsuna, gun aimed directly at the latter's forehead. "Yeah, if you'd stop sneaking out," he deadpanned. The former Arcobaleno looked at both Hitoshi and Mikumo, then back at Tsuna, but said nothing; just turned around and opened the doors.
"JUUDAIME!"
"SAWADA! Where have you been to the extreme?!"
"Lawn Head! Why are you asking Juudaime just as he arrived? You're being rude!"
"What are you saying, Tako Head?!"
"Damn you, Lawn Head!"
"Maah, maah, calm down you two."
Hitoshi flinched at the sudden loud voices. He looked at Tsuna who sighed visibly, and at Mikumo who just shrugged his head.
'Is the loudness a common thing here?' Hitoshi saw himself asking. He just might be regretting the decision he made on a whim.
A girl - Chrome - in a similar 3-peice suit, though she's donned a skirt instead of pants, who had an eye patch over her left eye, went beside Tsuna, holding out a glass of water to him. "Okairii, Bossu" she said in a timid voice. She is the Tenth Generation Mist Guardian, the official one, at least, since she was the one who fought with them during the ring succession battle.
Tsuna took the glass and drank, giving it back to the girl after. "Thanks, Chrome."
"Omnivore, I'll bite you to death for disturbing my sleep," a man with black hair, fair skin and slated eyes, Cloud Guardian Kyoya Hibari, declared in his deep and annoyed voice as he brandished his tonfa.
"I went to Japan," Tsuna answered nonchalantly. "I mean, I needed to fetch my Mom and a few other things?"
"Kufufuu," Mukuro, Tsuna's other Mist Guardian, the one who used Chrome's body as a vessel when his physical one was locked deep within the premises of Vendicare, chuckled. "You flew in an ungodly hour."
"And I found a few jewels myself," Tsuna continued.
Hitoshi gaped, unbelieving Tsuna's choice of words, regretting even more by the second his decision.
"Juudaime," Tenth Generation Storm Guardian Hayato Gokudera, a man with short, silver hair, started, "is the Estraneo hitman one of the few jewels you've found?"
'I give up. These people are crazy,' Hitoshi concluded. Seriously, are these guys, Mikumo included, psychopaths?
Tsuna smiled slyly. "Yes, the Estraneo guy included. Which his name I assume everyone present here already knows?"
Everyone nodded their affirmation.
"Tsk. So much for keeping a low profile," Mikumo muttered.
"It's only handful of upper men from each mafia knows your name, seeing as how elusive you are," Reborn said. "But hear this from me, the World's Greatest Hitman, you are still a failure of a hitman."
Mikumo chuckled. "Highly doubt it. Mikumo Akatani is just an alias.
Reborn shrugged. "Have you ever wondered if Reborn is an actual name?" He bantered back with a challenging smirk.
"Reborn, that's not the reason why I brought him with me," Tsuna stopped anymore insults that were about to erupt. "I'm taking him to Vindice."
That earned him a few gasps, much like Mikumo's reaction from hearing the news.
