Kyoko hurried Asui along as they heard the broadcasted message that they were under attack. They reached Chrome and Uraraka quickly just when a knife zipped through Uraraka's sleeve, leaving it stained with blood.

"Chako-chako, are you alright?" Asui asked the brunet girl.

"Yes. It just grazed me," she replied.

Kyoko pursed her lips and stood between the 3 students and the enemy. The villain had slitted golden yellow eyes, light yellow blond hair tied in a messy pigtail buns. Her mouth was obscured by an ugly-looking mask. She wasn't much older than Kyoko herself, but wasn't much younger either, if her sailor middle school uniform was anything to go by.

Said villain hummed. "Shallow. Not much blood," she deduced, looking at the drip of Uraraka's blood on her blade.

Asui spoke. "That's mean suddenly slashing a knife at us! Who are you?"

"I'm Toga," the villain replied as she pointed her knife at them. "You 4 sure are cute. Uraraka-san. Asui-san. And Dokuro-san," she stated the student's names as she waved her knife at them. Her eyes landed on Kyoko. "Though I'm not sure who you are?"

"Just call me Lady Varia," Kyoko answered with a grin.

Chrome snickered at the name.

"There's not enough blood," the villain said as she removed her mask. "Usually I'd just suck it out from the wound itself to get more but..." She dropped the mask, revealling pearly white teeth with 4pointy vampire-like fangs as canines. She took out from her back an object that looked like a sucking machine, tube connected to the square tank that had different vials on her back. "But this machine will start sucking if I just stick it in," she said as she held both the knife and machine outwards her. She rushed forward.

"She's coming!" Uraraka squealed as Asui wrapped her tongue around her and Chrome's slender waist. Kyoko jumped out of the way, intending to fight the villain and protect her charge.

Kyoko quickly willed up her Cloud Flames as she gripped her personal glass-like stilleto blades. It caught on the purple colored fire and in an instant there were multitudes of her blades floating in the air just waiting for her command of release. With a flick of her hand half of the blades went straight to the villain, who gracefully dodged it all. Kyoko smirked as she flicked the other half, knowing full well her opponent would dodge every single one. She traced each knife with her eyes which she could feel had turned violet with her will. Now to set up the wires, she needed a bit of time.

She felt Mist Flames weaving through her knives, probably reading what she was trying to do. Chrome poked her Flames at her, and she tugged back, gaining control to the Mist-created thin metal wires that resembled crawling branches in pattern with her knives, thus creating a metallic briar patch.

Kyoko couldn't stop her grin from widdenning. Maybe Tsu-kun was right, her grin was stupid. She was taught by Belphegor, after all, after she had awakenned her Flames.
