Eijiro had been pacing the living room of the Sawada's residence for a while now. Aizawa had ordered them to go with the CEDEF heroes after Reborn had offered and promised them their safety within Namimori. Said town had twice more the security and protection compared to the government offices and UA combined, it's basically an autonomous region in and of itself.

Based from what Eijiro had heard, that was because of it's status as the quirkless concentration site. He wasn't blind to his surroundings. He knew there were a few of those quirkist people who thought they were superior just because they were gifted with superpowers. He knew there was a discrimantion happening here and there, and there were those who despised quirkless people. He supposed the government didn't want anything to do with quirkless people just so they wouldn't face the backlash of some, so they probably stuck them all together in one place and gave them everything they would need. Well, at least Namimori had all kinds of over-the-top facilities all to themselves to cater. Not too much a bad deal.

The second protection it had was from the Vongola itself. This Eijiro could clearly see. He noticed high tech camera's all over the town. Aside from camera's, there were also men in black uniform with pompadous hair style like Elvis Presely patrolling through the streets. The townsfolk were also quick in stopping a small time robbery, and there wasn't even a scene to highlight or make it to the town's news. People even shrugged it off as if it were nothing short of a daily occurence. It calmed Eijiro's nerves a bit, knowing there were people who could live peacefully, to the point where a robbery was nothing to take precaution at.

While the big house had a comfortable and warm feel to it, Eijiro couldn't find it himself to calm down. He felt useless. He felt weak. He felt... He felt... He felt... It felt like he was a failure as a man. He failed to guard Sawada and Bakugo. He even got himself captured too. And as if the villain was fooling them around, he left him and Tokoyami as a souvenir for watching their show.

It made him remember how useless he used to be. It made him remember a memory he fought so hard to dig its own grave. It made him remember how hard he tried to forget that memory.

He didn't want to remember that one time when his schoolmates almost became victims of a villain attack if it weren't for Ashido's bravery.

He remembered her tears as she wailed in relief; how he vividly shook in fear. How he stood there idly, doing nothing, clattering his teeth like he was buried in snow.

Eijiro fisted his hands. He couldn't believe what kind of a man he was. He's the worst. He failed to protect his classmates when he was supposed to guard them like his life depended on it. He felt like he was the lowest of trash for being a failure. And what pained him the most was that he's an aspiring hero.

He was aiming to be a hero and yet, he failed to save even just one of his classmates.

"I say we go in there and save them," he started as they have settled in the spacious room. "Todoroki-kun and I accidentaly overheard Yaoyorozu that she had made a transmitter and made Skylark stick it to the nomu. We have a chance to save them."
