Shoto was a massive bundle of nerves as he walked towards the front desk. The bus dropped him right in front of the civil registry office of Namimori Prefecture. He was here to talk to Izuku about what happened during the sports fest, actually going here straight after visiting his mom at the mental institution. It's been so long since he's last seen and heard and talked to his mother. 10 long years.

And the smile his mother gave him - oh God, the smile. The smile he received after the initial confusion and horrified guilt was something Shoto felt he didn't deserve. Rei beamed too bright it hurt.

Not that he was complaining, because he was too warm inside to feel anymore remorse towards the only woman who truly loved him, without the fear of what Endeavor might do like his sister Fuyumi did. The fuzzy feeling was very much welcomed, for Shoto.

It felt like belonging, like he wasn't just a nobody destined to fulfill some kind of ambitious plan. It was like acceptance of whoever he is or whatever he does, he is still welcomed into an embrace, an embrace so warm and loving and soft and happiness and comfort and family. Things Shoto never got to experience.

Ok, maybe he was a tad bit complaining. But that was because Shoto didn't felt like himself, although he did felt like he finally realized who he really is after a long time. No, it was imperative that he quiz himself, because it was uncharacteristic of him to just be comfortable in another man's arms as he carried Shoto bridal style. It was even more weird of him to ferociously return a hug from another... Party, as Sawada would label it.

"Good day. How may I help you?" A lady in office uniform at the desk asked him as he walked upfront to it.

"I'd like to know the address of the Sawada's." One funny and awkward thing for Shoto is that he isn't socially capable. His social understanding is way too low, he doesn't exactly know how to interact. But he was good at observing, and from this he knew that Izuku lived with Tsunayoshi.

"Sorry, but that's confidential. What do you need from them? I'll give them a call and know someone is here looking for them. Your name, please?"

"Shoto Todoroki. I am looking for Izuk-" Shoto stopped abruptly because the clerk lady suddenly stood up and bowed.

"Hibari-sama."

Shoto turned his head and was greeted by a sliver shining piece of tonfa. He squared the owner in the eye. The man had narrow, slated eyes with a sharp gaze piercing Shoto. He was in a school uniform, a red arm band with the words 'disciplinary committee' decorating his arm like a bangle. He was in a fighting stance, as if preparing for a fight. Maybe he perceived Shoto as an enemy?

"What do you need of the carnivore?" the new comer interrogated, voice demanding.

"Excuse me?" Shoto baffled, not sure if the man was referring to him. Honestly, carnivore? Was there some kind of animal kingdom here? Or perhaps an animal hierarchy?
